With its romantic boho vibe, soft white and blue details that blend beautifully with the sea and the authentic Cycladic charm of Kythnos, Eva and Efthymios’ wedding at the picturesque Chapel of Agia Flampouriani is a heartfelt celebration of simplicity and genuine beauty. Surrounded by charming alleyways, whitewashed homes and the island’s peaceful scenery, their wedding day feels deeply personal. The couple first met as classmates in school and years later, Efthymios proposed at the very same chapel where they would eventually exchange vows, while they were watching the sunset and taking photos together. Their outdoor ceremony unfolded just outside the chapel as the sky transformed into breathtaking shades at sunset, creating an unforgettable setting. Romantic floral arrangements featuring roses, peonies, lisianthus and delphinium in white and blue added an elegant touch that perfectly complemented the timeless beauty of Kythnos. Eva, who visited the greek wedding site Love4Weddings and shared that it inspired her during the early stages of planning as she discovered the wedding style that truly reflected her personality, tells us, «My favorite moment of the wedding was walking up the steps to the Chapel of Agia Flampouriani and seeing my husband waiting for me, while behind him the sunset slowly began, just like it did on the day he proposed.» Every photograph captured by Vasilis Stellatos preserves these unforgettable memories, inviting us into a wedding filled with love, romance and the enchanting beauty of the Greek islands.

«We met when we were classmates in school and the proposal happened at the same little chapel where we eventually got married. We went there to watch the sunset and take some photos and that’s where he proposed.»

«I had been visiting the greek site of Love4Weddings. It really helped me in the beginning because I wanted to discover what wedding style I loved most and what would suit Kythnos best.»

«My wedding dress was simple, made with white polka dot tulle and a slit along one side of the skirt. It was romantic and beautiful, just like the entire setting of our wedding.»

«Our wedding decoration was simple and the ceremony took place outside the church with the sunset as our backdrop. We chose white and blue roses to match the sea. Our reception was held at a seaside taverna in the village of Kanala on Kythnos.»

My advice to any bride planning her wedding now is to create the wedding she has always dreamed of and choose her vendors carefully, because on one of the most important days of her life, these are the people who will be by her side for many hours.
