White hydrangeas, delphiniums, calla lilies, amaranthus and the prettiest anthuriums set the most romantic tone for Daniela and Giannis’ wedding as they celebrate their love at the beautiful Deda Estate. Their story began in January 2021, when they matched on Tinder during lockdown and soon discovered they even had a mutual friend. A few years later, Giannis planned an unforgettable marriage proposal on the beach of their hotel in Bali, Indonesia, just two days before they were due to fly back to Copenhagen, after keeping the engagement ring hidden in his suitcase throughout their entire trip across Asia. For their wedding day, they chose a timeless white and green palette with minimalist decoration that allowed the natural beauty of Deda Estate to shine, from the charming chapel of Saints Constantine and Helen to the lush gardens that framed every special moment. At the entrance of the chapel, two white urns overflowing with hydrangeas, delphiniums, calla lilies, amaranthus and anthuriums created a breathtaking first impression, while Daniela’s bouquet of white lilies completed the romantic aesthetic. One of the most meaningful details was the handwritten letter the couple prepared for each guest. «One of our favorite things was our love letters. We wrote each one of our guests a handwritten love letter that worked as an escort card to their table. The guests loved it! It made them feel seen, heard, and appreciated. Our goal was to make time for each guest, and we managed to do quick rounds for each table to greet them, and they all thanked us for the love letters…» the bride shared with us. «During covid lockdown in January 2021 on Tinder, we also had a common friend. Giannis proposed on the 28th of February 2025 in Bali, Indonesia, at night by the beach in our hotel. (it was a big surprise to me; we had traveled for 3 weeks around Asia, and he proposed two days before leaving back to Copenhagen—risky to bring a ring in the suitcase for so long.»

«We both like decoration to be minimal and let the venue speak for itself—Ktima Deda is gorgeous! We chose to work with Kipos Kalou and hired Eleni to coordinate the day for us. She quickly understood that we wanted something elegant, timeless, minimal, and yet modern. We chose some of our favorite flowers, like hydrangeas, anthurium andraeanum, calla lilies, and Gianni’s favorite, amaranthus. Everything in white and green. For church decoration, we chose to only have two pots of flowers; we did not want anything to overshadow the simplicity of the chapel. My bouquet was calla lilies of different lengths to be as simple as possible. All the signs, menus, table numbers, etc. were all DIY and made by my best friends and bridesmaids. We wanted it to be as personal as possible. We also had a backdrop for photoshoots, and the dinner tables were long with no tablecloths, as we loved the wooden tables. Overall, Eleni and her team did an amazing job! One of our favorite things was our love letters. The advice I would give to any bride planning her wedding is to hire a coordinator! Be in the moment and soak it in. Take 2 minutes before walking down the aisle, and just breath. This will be the best day of your life. Dance until you drop!

«I knew when I saw the dress Eva Lendel Alegra, that it would be the one even before trying it on. I had organized a bridal shower with all my bridesmaids, and we went to try on wedding dresses. It was the first dress I ever tried. And I just knew it. It was the one! It is a simple off-white slim dress that shows off my hourglass figure. What surprised me was that I added the train that was very long. The train was detachable with a belt and buttons. It was my friend who said that it was a must. I am simple, but I also wanted a wow effect, and I also wanted to dance. So, the dress fulfilled all of my requirements. After the photoshoot I took the train off, as it was too difficult to sit in and move around..»
