Santorini was the perfect place for Miho and David to celebrate their summer wedding, surrounded by sweeping sea views and the unmistakable beauty of the island. After David proposed on their third anniversary during a surprise helicopter ride through the mountains of Vancouver, the couple began planning a destination celebration with a light pink, white and cream palette, bringing together a dreamy garden style that felt beautifully suited to Santorini. For the ceremony, Flowery Santorini created abundant floral arrangements with pink peonies, pale pink and cream roses, light pink astilbe, pink hydrangeas, white freesia, white delphiniums and eucalyptus greenery, arranged around a white round podium with a floor flower arch that framed the couple without taking away from the view beyond the balcony. Engraved white silk fans were also waiting for the guests, a thoughtful touch for the warm summer day. «Coming down the aisle to see my fiancee on the podium with all of the gorgeous flowers and the view! It was the moment I had been looking forward to the most.» Miho shared, describing one of her favorite memories from the day. At the wedding reception, a blush table runner stretched along the table beneath small vases filled with flowers and glowing candles, while cream napkins with rose gold trim, pearly white flower napkin rings and rose gold acrylic name places added soft touches of color beside simple wooden Chiavari chairs. «The theme of our wedding decoration was light pink and white/cream, garden, dreamy and simple. For the flowers, we chose pink peonies for the bouquet only, light pink and cream roses, light pink astilbe, eucalyptus greenery, pink hydrangeas for the floor arch, white freesia for the floor arch and white delphiniums for the floor arch. For the ceremony, we had a white round podium with the floor flower arch to complement the view from the balcony without obstructing it! We also had some engraved white silk fans for our guests, as it was quite hot.»

My advice to a bride who is now planning her wedding is that weddings are expensive, but say yes to the things that are important to you. For me, the dress and photos are something I am going to keep and look back on for the rest of my life. I am so glad that I bought the dress I really wanted, as well as booking our amazing photographer, Eva Rendl. The same goes for the flowers, podium and food! We focused on spending our funds on selective things that we cared most about.»
