In one of the most breathtaking corners of Elounda, Negar and David’s destination wedding unfolded like a dreamy seaside celebration filled with romance, pretty pastel florals and moments overflowing with pure joy! The radiant couple chose a setting with endless views and spectacular sunsets for the most beautiful day of their lives, while Weddings by Moments thoughtfully curated every detail, creating a scene that felt like a lush garden floating above the water. The wedding ceremony space was overflowing with blooms, with hydrangeas, roses and delphiniums cascading in layers to create a rich pastel floral aisle, while the bridal bouquet, designed with hydrangeas, roses, orchids, delphiniums, delicate blooms and eucalyptus, perfectly echoed the romantic palette of the day. The same elegant atmosphere carried into the wedding reception, where arrangements in lilac, blush pink, ivory and soft blue transformed the space into a romantic wonderland, while Michalis Tsotras created the bride’s glowing bridal beauty look to perfection. The bride shared that the best advice she could give any future bride is to find an incredible wedding planner and truly trust them, because that is what makes the difference between stress and genuinely living every moment of your wedding day, saying: «None of this would have been possible without our incredible wedding planners, Caroline and Annika from Wedding by Moments. They somehow took every idea, Pinterest board and half-finished sentence and turned it into a day that was even more magical than we imagined. They coordinated every detail so seamlessly that we were able to be fully present with our loved ones, soaking in the music, the flowers and the joy of having all our favourite people together in such a spectacular place.» Crete, the dreamy pastel florals, and the happiness of Negar and David came together in a beautiful summer wedding of love filled with romance in every single detail!

«We like to say our story started in the most unexpected of places, the office. Between endless meetings, coffee runs and shared deadlines, we became partners in laughter before we ever became partners in love. Friendship came first and that friendship soon began to blur into something more, the kind of more that makes even the most routine workday a little brighter. In 2018, after one particularly intense meeting in Barcelona, we decided we’d earned a proper break. So, we did what any reasonable pair of slightly overworked colleagues would do, we booked a spontaneous trip to Rome. That trip turned out to be our first romantic adventure, filled with late-night gelato, wrong turns that led to hidden piazzas and the joyful realization that we were no longer just coworkers or friends, we were something else entirely. A few years (and many passports stamps) later, on a sun-drenched Christmas morning in 2021, David surprised me with the most beautiful question of all. There, under the tree, surrounded by warmth and light, he asked me to marry him. It was the simplest, happiest “yes” of my life. The perfect ending to one love story and the perfect beginning to another.»

«We were married in Elounda surrounded by flowers, music and the people we love most and every detail felt like stepping into a romantic spring dream with a touch of Mediterranean magic. Our wedding at the Elounda Peninsula in Crete was all about flowers and light. We chose soft spring colours: lilacs, blush, ivory, and hints of blue and asked our florist to make it look as if the blooms were simply growing all around us. The bridal bouquet was a loose, romantic cluster of pastel roses, lilac-toned blooms and delicate, fragrant flowers that felt freshly gathered rather than overly arranged, which matched the relaxed elegance of the day. The wedding ceremony space was filled with flowers everywhere: climbing around the arch, tumbling over structures and spilling down in cascading layers so that it felt like we were saying our vows in a secret garden overlooking the sea. The backdrop of the water and the gorgeous Elounda Peninsula setting made everything even more special, with the natural landscape and the floral design blending together beautifully. During the ceremony, a jazz band played, adding this incredibly chic, slightly unexpected soundtrack that kept everything light, joyful and very “us.”»

«For the bridal reception, the flowers followed us indoors, draping from above in dreamy floral curtains and appearing in every corner: on tables, around the dance floor and framing little moments for our guests to discover. We loved the way the decorations felt both luxurious and whimsical, like a modern fairytale with a Greek island twist. Our band kept the dance floor full all night, turning the beautiful setting into a real celebration where our family and friends could laugh, dance and enjoy the atmosphere we had dreamed of. None of this would have been possible without our incredible wedding planners, Caroline and Annika from Wedding by Moments. They somehow took every idea, Pinterest board and half-finished sentence and turned it into a day that was even more magical than we imagined. They coordinated every detail so seamlessly that we were able to be fully present with our loved ones, soaking in the music, the flowers and the joy of having all our favourite people together in such a spectacular place.»

«On the day itself, we were able to be completely present, laughing with our friends, hugging our families and soaking in every second because we knew they had absolutely everything under control. Their team is not only incredibly talented, but also kind, warm and genuinely invested in making your day unforgettable. We often say that they didn’t just plan our wedding; they created an experience and a set of memories that we’ll treasure forever. They will always have a special place in our hearts and we would recommend Wedding by Moments and especially Caroline and Annika to any couple who wants their dream wedding brought to life and the freedom to truly enjoy it.»

Our favourite moment will always be the one when we officially became husband and wife. Standing there, surrounded by our family and friends, everything else faded away for a second and it felt like the whole world narrowed to just the two of us and the words we were saying.

«My wedding dress was a dream from Oscar de la Renta: timeless, romantic and just a little bit dramatic in the most elegant way. The structured bodice and full skirt created the most beautiful silhouette and the delicate floral appliques made it feel like I was wrapped in a garden of tiny sculpted flowers. I loved how the dress managed to be both modern and classic at the same time; it felt couture and special, but still completely “me.” When I moved, the skirt floated and swished around me, making every step down the aisle and every turn on the dance floor feel cinematic. It was one of those dresses that you don’t just wear, you experience, luxurious fabric, meticulous detail and the kind of craftsmanship you can feel the moment you put it on. I felt confident, feminine and completely bridal from the second I stepped into it and I know I’ll be obsessing over this dress in photos for the rest of my life.»

«Another moment that will stay with us forever was our first dance, when time seemed to slow down and we could finally breathe, hold each other and soak in the feeling of, “We did it. We’re really married.” As the song ended, the night exploded into the most spectacular fireworks display a secret we had shared only with our wedding planners. The look of surprise and wonder on everyone’s faces as the sky lit up was priceless. It felt like the perfect reflection of how we felt inside: completely overwhelmed, full of joy and a little bit in awe that this magical night was actually ours.»

«The best piece of advice I would give any bride is this: find an incredible wedding planner and then truly let them do what they do best. Being able to trust someone with your vision is the difference between spending your wedding day stressing over details and actually living every beautiful moment of it. We were unbelievably lucky to find Caroline and Annika from Wedding by Moments. From the very beginning, they took the time to understand not just what we wanted the day to look like, but how we wanted it to feel for us and for our guests. They handled everything with such calm professionalism and creativity that we never had to worry about timelines, suppliers, logistics, or last‑minute changes. It all just magically happened in the background while we enjoyed our engagement and, most importantly, our wedding day. Caroline and Annika turned our ideas into something beyond what we could have imagined. They designed and orchestrated every detail so thoughtfully, from the flowers and music to the surprises and little personal touches that made the day feel uniquely “us.”»
