On my way home, I found a bracelet on the ground with a heart at its center. Who would have thought that this bracelet would be a sign of our meeting. A few hours later, that very same night, I met Ilias. Our eyes met in the dark and shortly after he came over to talk to me, without me ever imagining that this man would become my husband. It was love at first sight. One year later, in August 2023, came the marriage proposal. Exactly as I had always dreamed it, by the sea, on a sweet summer evening with the sound of the waves. A simple walk of ours ended in the easiest yes of my life. That was when I realized that nothing is random. Everything started from that heart and led to a promise of a lifetime.»
My favorite moment of the wedding was when I arrived by car at the church and saw the man of my life waiting for me in a setting straight out of a fairytale. I will never forget that moment. It was as if time froze and it was just the two of us.
