Stylish Christmas Wedding

Happy new year! We are so excited to welcome 2016 and to start off the year in style, we are featuring a holiday inspired wedding captured beautifully by photographer Thanos Asfis. This gorgeous wedding combines all the beautiful details that come to mind when you think of a Christmas soiree. However wedding planner Helena Chaviara from Rock Paper Scissors added an overabundance of creative and modern details. From the geometric heart details to the jaw dropping red and gold geometric wedding cake, this holiday wedding is a true stunner!

Wedding planner Helena Chaviara from Rock Paper Scissors shared with us: “We were inspired by the couple’s first dance song –the famous Dance me till the end of love by Leonard Cohen – and designed an elegant yet stylish and modern wedding right in the middle of winter. Festive –between Christmas and New Year’s eve – but not with a really Christmas wedding decoration, the geometric heart was our main element that was used from our gold foil invitations even to our favors which were a big golden pendant. Our cake used the heart’s geometric pattern and our dessert table was full of golden details and of course desserts. Our unique centerpieces had red roses, tulips, amaryllis and a golden touch of sprayed phaelaenopsis orchids. Guests particularly enjoyed the photobooth and the cocktail bar as well as the surprise by the sister of the bride, the saxophone player. Their next day shooting took place in Plaka and historical center of Athens area. This couple’s beauty made our hearts skip some beats! It was a really cold night that got a lot warmer with the love of these two…”
