Soft shades of blue, peach, blush and white, romantic floral arrangements and the timeless beauty of Pyrgos Melissourgou set the scene for Cynthia and Rares’ destination wedding in Athens, a celebration overflowing with love and breathtaking moments. The happy couple chose to say “I do” at one of the city’s most enchanting venues, where lush gardens, stunning sea views and romantic sunsets created the perfect backdrop for the most unforgettable day of their lives. Marriage in Style beautifully brought their vision to life through flawless planning and coordination, while the talented team at Kipos Deco filled every corner of the celebration with color and romance through their exquisite floral designs. The all-white bridal bouquet, featuring orchids, roses, dahlias, lisianthus and delphinium, stood out with its timeless elegance, while the reception tables were adorned with abundant arrangements of delphinium, hydrangeas, roses, lisianthus, orchids and lush greenery in soft pastel hues, creating an enchanting garden-inspired atmosphere. Thoughtful wedding favors filled with Greek olive oil and the exceptional culinary creations by OLON Full Flavor Events added a memorable touch that guests truly enjoyed. As the bride shared with us, «We wanted a whimsical timeless look for our wedding decoration with soft colours. It was important for us that our guests and the colour palate of our wedding were cohesive. We kept the florals for the ceremony and reception full of blues, pinks, purples and oranges while my bridal bouquet was all white. Georgia, our wedding planner surprised us with fairy lights, it felt so dreamy against the candle lit tables. We loved seeing how our families and friends were enjoying themselves, eating yummy food, taking a ton of pictures and creating unforgettable memories together with the Athenian riviera as the backdrop.» We have gathered the most beautiful highlights from this extraordinary celebration and we’re certain you’ll fall in love with every single one of them.

«We met in 2016 and Rares proposed me in 2024 during our trip to Romania. We hiked the Bucegi Mountains to the peak of the Heroes’ Cross. He suggested taking some photos of me from behind. I turned around asking what was taking so long with the photos and that is when he was on one knee waiting to propose.»

«Our favourite moment was the wedding ceremony. Everything was set up beautifully. Seeing both our families come together to celebrate our love was unforgettable.»

The advice I would give to a bride who is now planning her wedding is to enjoy the process and have fun with it! At the end of the day, it’s your special moment. What you and your fiance want should matter most. I would highly recommend hiring a wedding planner if you’re a bride from abroad!

«The wedding dress is from Calla Blanche. I wanted something romantic for a destination wedding.»
