How beautifully nature, romance and timeless details come together in Ioanna and Nikos’ autumn wedding in Athens! The stunning Laas Estate, with its natural stone architecture, warm wooden accents, captivating artwork and breathtaking views, sets the stage for the most special day of their lives, creating the perfect backdrop for unforgettable moments. The bridal bouquet, thoughtfully designed by New Leaf with white roses, freesias and anemones in soft white tones, perfectly captured the chic and romantic spirit of the day, while arrangements of olive branches and delicate white blooms adorning the chapel added a sense of elegance and timeless charm. At the reception, wooden tables, earthy hues and beautiful olive branch centerpieces created a stunning setting that blended seamlessly with the character of the venue, while Dipnosofistirion Catering treated guests to an unforgettable culinary experience. «The details that stood out most to us were the art works that Laas Estate provided for the decoration of both the reception tables and the church…», the bride shared with us. Every image from this beautiful celebration reveals thoughtful details, both big and small, that make all the difference and we can’t wait for you to discover them with us!

«The truth is that we had known each other for a long time through work and there was always a mutual appreciation and professional respect between us. But when we found ourselves at a different stage in our lives, we discovered that there was something more and that’s how this wonderful journey together began. The marriage proposal took place in Venice, one May afternoon, in a gondola as the sun was setting. It may sound classic, but we should never forget the funny mishaps. We had more than one of those moments and they were exactly what made the proposal so unique and the memory so unforgettable!»

If we had to choose one highlight, it would be the church table and its overall styling with olive branches, symbolizing longevity and prosperity, together with personal heirloom pieces, some of which belonged to Mrs. Stevi’s grandmother from Laas Estate, adding a sense of refinement and timeless character to the setting.

«When it came to our wedding decoration. we generally didn’t want anything over the top. Our vision was to keep everything monochromatic and elegant. My bridal bouquet was simple and entirely white. The details that stood out most to us were the art works that Laas Estate provided for the decoration of both the reception tables and the church.»

«My wedding dress was designed by the incredible Maria Konidi, who, in my opinion, is truly at the top of her field. It had a mermaid silhouette, hugging the body closely and gently flaring out at the bottom. The bodice featured sheer details and white lace, creating a look that felt both elegant and sensual. The lace was embroidered and flowed throughout the gown with subtle shimmering accents. The straps were delicate and understated, while the back was quite open. Finally, the veil was very long, soft and airy, creating a beautiful train behind me. Overall, it had a romantic and sophisticated feel without ever feeling heavy.»

«We have two favorite moments from our wedding day. The first was walking into the church with my brother and father by my side. Everyone was emotional and it’s a moment I’ll always cherish. The second favorite memory has a touch of humor. When the priest said, “and the wife shall fear her husband”, everyone expected me to step on his foot. Instead, I chose to kiss him. He looked at me with complete surprise and said “You really didn’t step on my foot?”»

«Our wedding was decided on and planned within four months, all at a normal pace, without pressure or stress. What we’d like to say is that when you have the right professionals by your side and you know what you want, everything becomes much easier. My advice to any bride who is planning her wedding right now is to relax and enjoy the entire journey, from the preparations to the wedding day itself.»
