An autumn wedding in Mani, where the rugged beauty of stone meets the deep blue sea and traditional stone houses, could only be the perfect beginning to a truly special love story. Marissa and George’s destination wedding takes us to a place filled with character and authenticity, where a beautiful friendship that began after graduation grew over the years into a deep love, leading to a romantic proposal in the Swiss Alps surrounded by their closest friends. Rena & Co Events created a stunning setting with an organic, earthy aesthetic, featuring a palette of soft blue, green and ivory inspired by the sea, stone and olive groves of Mani. Impressive floral arrangements at the church entrance, featuring white roses, lisianthus, delphiniums, olive branches and lush greenery in shades of white and soft blue, beautifully set the tone for the celebration ahead, while the bridal bouquet of ranunculus, roses, lisianthus, delphiniums and astilbe followed the same natural color harmony. At the outdoor wedding reception, long wooden tables were decorated with lush garlands of olive branches, white roses, white lisianthus and delicate blue blooms, creating a garden style look that blended beautifully with the stone landscape and uninterrupted sea views. «Our wedding decoration was inspired by the natural beauty of Mani, one of the main reasons we chose this as our destination. It reflects the natural, effortless elements we love most about Greece…», the bride shared with us. Every image from this special day captures their love in the most authentic way and we are certain their wedding photos will transport you to a celebration filled with romance and effortless beauty.

«George and I met in high school when I moved to Connecticut for my senior year. What began as an easy friendship soon turned into something more after graduation. Over the years, we built a life filled with travel, laughter and unforgettable memories, leading to a magical proposal on a ski trip in the Swiss Alps, surrounded by our closest friends.»

«Our wedding decoration was inspired by the natural beauty of Mani, one of the main reasons we chose this as our destination. It reflects the natural, effortless elements we love most about Greece. We leaned into an organic, earthy feel with a palette of soft blues, greens and ivory to mirror the sea, stone, olive groves and surrounding landscape. For florals, we highlighted the region’s natural charm by incorporating real olive branches paired with classic white roses and hints of blue. Each table was illuminated with string lights and candles, enhancing the surrounding scenery and creating a warm, romantic vibe.»

The advice I would give to a bride who is now planning her wedding is to focus on creating a wedding truly celebrates your love and reflects who you are as a couple, everything else will naturally fall into place.

«I visited the greek wedding site of Love4Weddings.»

«Our favorite moment of the evening was the incredible energy and joy during our first group dance, surrounded by everyone we love: jumping, dancing with napkins and looking out over the dance floor to see all of our favorite people in one place celebrating with us is something we’ll never forget. And of course, the midnight gyros were pretty unforgettable too.»

«My wedding dress reflected both my personal style and the overall wedding aesthetic: simple, timeless and organic. It featured a structured corset paired with delicate floral details thoughtfully placed throughout, along with a long, graceful floral train that added a soft, romantic touch.»
