The wedding of Kendall and Taylor in Sifnos takes us to a truly special celebration of love by the sea, defined by a quiet luxury aesthetic, clean lines and a deeply personal approach that beautifully reflects their story. The couple met through a mutual friend who is also a relative of the groom, while the proposal took place on a beach in Charleston, at the very spot where they had their first date, creating an intimate moment that felt perfectly true to their relationship. Sifnos, one of the most picturesque islands in the Cyclades, with its natural beauty, traditional architecture and authentic island charm, became the perfect destination for their most beautiful day, with the stunning Lazarou Beach hosting the reception just above the endless blue of the Aegean Sea. Blossom Weddings thoughtfully designed every detail with a beautiful sense of balance, choosing a palette of white and green, crisp white linens, and floral arrangements featuring orchids, calla lilies, anthuriums, hydrangeas, alliums and cascading amaranthus. The bride’s sculptural bouquet echoed the same refined aesthetic with white orchids, calla lilies, anthuriums, and amaranthus in shades of white and green. «Rather than compete with the beauty of the setting, we chose simple floral arrangements that complemented the landscape and allowed the surroundings to speak for themselves. The reception design was centered around one element I had dreamed about for years: a long banquet table where everyone could gather together. Growing up, sharing meals around the table was such an important part of my family, and I loved the idea of creating that same feeling on our wedding day…..» the bride shared with us. Beneath the wooden pergola, airy white fabrics moved gently in the breeze, while petite light fixtures and strands of twinkling lights illuminated the long dinner table. Candles, glassware, and subtle touches of greenery completed the inviting dinner setting, allowing the breathtaking Cycladic landscape to remain the true focal point. Inspired by the family meals of her childhood, the communal table brought all of their favorite people together and gave the evening the genuine sense of connection Kendall had always envisioned, while DJ Party Project set the mood with music and lighting throughout the celebration. The images from this effortlessly modern wedding capture a day filled with love, authenticity and unforgettable moments and every single one is worth savoring!

«Taylor and I met through his cousin, Dia, who was one of my closest friends in nursing school. We lived together for three years, and because I was so far from home during that time, I spent many holidays celebrating with her family instead of traveling back home. It was through those family gatherings that I met Taylor. When Taylor proposed, he took me to the beach in Charleston where we had our first date. It had rained all day, so the beach was completely empty except for a sweet older couple watching from the window of their beachfront home. There was no grand gesture or elaborate setup—just the two of us in one of our favorite places. It was simple, intimate, and perfectly reflected who we are as a couple.»

«One of our favorite moments of the wedding was when Kendall walked down the aisle. It was incredible to look around and see everyone we love sitting together, smiling, and enjoying each other’s company. There was something so special about seeing people who had only spent a few days together before the wedding look like they had known each other for years. For Taylor, seeing Kendall walk toward him for the first time that day was a moment he will never forget. We chose not to see each other on the day of the wedding before the ceremony, which made that moment even more special.»

«Most importantly, remember it’s your day and no one else’s. I spent a lot of time stressing over whether people would have a good experience that I sometimes got carried away and lost sight of the whole point. The second most important thing is to make sure you put a lot of thought into who you choose for your vendors. It was so nice to have full trust in all of my vendors at the wedding and actually get to relax and enjoy the moment.»

«My wedding dress was a beautiful tiered organza gown with an asymmetrical neckline from a store called Fleurish in Los Angeles, CA. I knew I wanted something that was somehow both unique and timeless, and this dress checked both of those boxes for me.»

«For the wedding florals, we used calla lilies, alliums, anthuriums, amaranthus, and hydrangeas throughout the wedding. My bouquet was a very sculptural mix of calla lilies, alliums, anthuriums, and amaranthus that looked modern yet timeless and felt elegant without being over the top. For the ceremony, we intentionally kept the décor minimal. We were married on a cliff overlooking the sea, and the view itself was the focal point. Rather than compete with the beauty of the setting, we chose simple floral arrangements that complemented the landscape and allowed the surroundings to speak for themselves.»

«The reception design was centered around one element I had dreamed about for years: a long banquet table where everyone could gather together. Growing up, sharing meals around the table was such an important part of my family, and I loved the idea of creating that same feeling on our wedding day. Under a pergola draped with soft fabric, we filled the table with draped linens, candlelight, lamps, and simple florals to create a warm and inviting atmosphere. More than any individual décor detail, my favorite part was looking down that long table and seeing all of the people we love gathered together in one place. It felt exactly the way I had always imagined it… intimate, welcoming, and full of connection.»
