With a romantic vision shaped by cream, beige, white and soft earthy tones, Reanna and Gervas chose Crete for their spring destination wedding, saying «I do» while overlooking the Greek sea. Their journey to this day began after an unforgettable week sailing around the Caribbean with Gervas’s family. On the final evening, Reanna believed they were simply taking one last walk through Central Park on board the cruise ship. Gervas had arranged for a violinist to play their song beneath the lights, while the crew quietly cleared the area so the moment could belong entirely to them. As the music began, he held her hands, looked into her eyes and got down on one knee. She said yes without hesitation. For their celebration, Art Villas Greece offered a striking setting where artful design meets modern comfort. Stylish interiors spacious terraces beneath the Cretan sky created a beautiful place for their wedding day. Crete’s natural beauty and timeless Mediterranean character became part of the wedding itself, with the minimal chic decoration allowing the sweeping sea views to remain at the heart of the setting. Arrangements of white roses and baby’s breath appeared throughout the ceremony and reception, following the couple’s romantic style, while the neutral colour palette was also reflected in the guests’ attire. As Reanna shared: «We wanted our wedding to feel elegant, timeless and romantic, so we chose a neutral colour palette of creams, beiges, whites and soft earthy tones that perfectly complemented the beautiful surroundings of Crete.» With pale florals, understated details and the open sea stretching beyond the venue, Reanna and Gervas’s wedding felt personal, romantic and entirely connected to the landscape around them! Don’t miss this gorgeous wedding!

«Our story began in May 2022, when Reanna slid into my DMs. Neither of us knew it at the time, but one simple message would completely change both of our lives. Our first date was a bottomless brunch, and despite the nerves, there was an instant connection. The following week, we went on our second date to an escape room. It nearly didn’t go to plan, but thankfully, a lot of laughs, plenty of banter and being ourselves reminded us why we enjoyed each other’s company so much. As the weeks turned into months, we built something truly special. From cooking together and supporting each other through life’s challenges to countless date nights and making memories, I realised I had found my best friend. At our favourite restaurant, Fazenda, I asked Reanna to be my girlfriend, and the rest is history. After spending an unforgettable week sailing around the breathtaking Caribbean with my family, I knew the final evening had to be one we’d remember forever.»

«While Reanna thought we were simply taking one last stroll through Central Park on board the cruise ship, I had arranged for a violinist to play our song as we walked beneath the lights and asked the crew to quietly clear the area so we could have a moment that was entirely ours. As the music began to play, time seemed to stand still. I took her hands, looked into the eyes of the woman who had changed my life and got down on one knee. Without hesitation, she said yes. Afterwards, we celebrated with a beautiful dinner alongside my family, sharing the start of our next chapter with the people we love most. It was the perfect ending to an incredible journey and the beginning of our greatest adventure yet. Now, from that first message in May 2022 to saying “I do” in Crete overlooking the beautiful Greek sea, every step has led us here. And if we had the chance to live a thousand lifetimes, we’d choose this journey and each other every single time.»

We wanted our wedding to feel elegant, timeless and romantic, so we chose a neutral colour palette of creams, beiges, whites and soft earthy tones that perfectly complemented the beautiful surroundings of Crete. Reanna carried a classic bouquet of white roses with delicate baby’s breath, which matched the floral arrangements throughout the ceremony and reception. We loved the simplicity of the décor, allowing the breathtaking views over the Greek sea to become part of the setting.

«I wanted a wedding dress that felt timeless, elegant and effortlessly romantic. I chose a beautifully fitted satin gown with a soft draped neckline that perfectly complemented its clean, minimalist silhouette. The open back added a modern touch, while the delicate lace-trimmed veil and matching lace gloves brought a hint of vintage romance to the overall look. I carried a classic bouquet of white roses and baby’s breath, keeping everything soft, understated and elegant. We loved how the simplicity of the dress allowed the stunning backdrop of Crete to shine, while still making me feel like the most beautiful bride in the world. It was everything we had imagined: classic, sophisticated and completely timeless.»

«One of our favourite moments was being introduced as husband and wife for the very first time. Walking into our reception with all of our family and friends on their feet, waving their napkins, cheering and singing for us was an unforgettable feeling. The atmosphere was electric, and seeing everyone dressed so beautifully in our neutral colour theme made the whole day feel even more special. Looking around and seeing all of our favourite people celebrating with us is a memory we’ll cherish forever.»

«It’s impossible to choose just one favourite moment from our wedding because the whole day felt so magical, but there are two memories that will stay with us forever. Throughout the day, we felt like we were in our own little bubble. Despite being surrounded by all of our favourite people, every time we looked at each other, it felt like it was just us. Feeling so much love and support from our family and friends made the day even more special. For Gerv, the most emotional moment was hearing Reanna’s bridal entrance song begin to play and seeing her in her wedding dress for the very first time. It was a moment that had been imagined so many times, but nothing compared to seeing it become reality.»

«Together, our favourite moment was being introduced as Mr & Mrs Chipasha for the very first time. Walking into our reception hand in hand, with our entrance music playing, while all of our family and friends were on their feet cheering, singing, waving their napkins and celebrating with us, was an indescribable feeling. It was the perfect start to our next chapter together and a moment we’ll cherish for the rest of our lives.»

«Our biggest piece of advice to a bride who is planning her wedding would be to plan as much as she can well in advance. It takes away so much of the stress, allowing her to genuinely enjoy the weeks leading up to the wedding rather than worrying about the little details. On the day itself, slow down and take it all in. It really does go by in the blink of an eye. Make a conscious effort to spend time together as newlyweds throughout the day, even if it’s just stealing a few quiet moments away from everyone else. Those little moments together quickly became some of our favourite memories, and they’re the ones we’ll cherish forever.»
