If you have ever dreamed of a summer wedding on a Cycladic hill with whitewashed houses stretching all the way to the horizon, Chloé and Simon’s three day celebration in Folegandros is exactly that. The island unfolded beneath them in soft earthy tones and endless blue, with the path leading up to Panagia Church becoming part of the story itself, as musicians walked ahead and friends followed, the landscape opening wide around them. Eva Rendl Photography captured every frame in such a beautiful way, from the bright afternoon light over the village to the golden sunset portraits above the sea, where the cliffs dropped dramatically into the water and the couple stood wrapped in that quiet island stillness. Their journey began long before Greece, with a proposal in South Africa, and led to this intimate gathering centered around the house of her father’s best friends, which became the heart of the festivities. As Chloé shared, «My favorite moment from my wedding was the party in the beautiful house in Folegandros and the wedding ceremony at the top of Panagia Church in Folegandros», a memory that feels vivid when you see the images of the group climbing toward the church with the island unfolding behind them. Don’t miss this lovely island wedding in Folegandros, brought to life through the lens of Eva Rendl Photography and take in every beautiful!

«He proposed to me during safari in South Africa.»

«We did our wedding during 3 days in Folegandros. The best friends of my father has a house over there. We start with a welcome drink at the Pounta Restaurant. Then we did a white party at the house of my friends. And we did the wedding ceremony at the Panagia Church and the dinner on the center of the villa. We would want a simple decoration for the table within candles and flowers. We did the brunch at Papalagi restaurant on the sunday.»
