Is there anything more romantic than an intimate summer elopement overlooking the Santorini caldera? Samantha and Zachary chose the island for a celebration shared only between the two of them, surrounded by whitewashed architecture, sweeping sea views and one of those golden sunsets Santorini is known for. «We eloped, just the two of us. We had very little flowers, just a white and green arrangement on the bottom of our gold arch that we got married under…..», the bride shared with us. The minimal chic styling suited the setting perfectly, allowing the landscape and the meaning of the day to take centre stage. With its privacy, beauty and unmistakable sense of place, Santorini gave Samantha and Zachary the intimate celebration they had imagined, all beautifully captured by wedding photographer George Kossieris. A quiet ceremony, caldera views and a sunset made for two!

«We met through mutual friends at a football game. He proposed me in the park at the Buckingham Palace in London.»

«We eloped, just the two of us. We had very little flowers, just a white and green arrangement on the bottom of our gold arch that we got married under. We let the beautiful cliffs, ocean and islands of Santorini be our backdrop and decoration.»

«My dress was an elopement dress. Short with detachable sleeves. Covered in intricate flowers and beading.»

My favorite moment from my wedding was reading our vows to each other.

«The advice I would give to a bride who is now planning her wedding is to arrange for a shaded and cool area.»
