Beautiful summer wedding in Vouliagmeni Lake | Natasa & Maxim

Today we are featuring a beautiful summer wedding that took place in the heart of nature in the idyllic location of Vouliagmeni Lake! The lovely couple chose this location for their wedding destination because both really loved the place and had a magical vibe about it when they’ve visited it! We absolutely loved their wedding decoration in gold, white and black hues! The wedding reception was decorated with impressive fresh white and rose flower arrangements with golden details and black gift boxes which gave an elegant and chic style to their wedding decoration! A stunning flower arrangement was set in the middle of the reception area and used as a backdrop to capture the most romantic moments of this lovely couple! The bride shared with us: “We have been going to school together since we were in primary school then started dating in high school. In Prague, we went for a walk and he organised for someone to set up a picnic over looking the whole city of Prague.”

“We chose Vouliagmeni Lake for our wedding destination because we went to a few different receptions and Vouliagmeni Lake was one that we both really loved, it had a really magical vibe about it. We loved that there was a beautiful view of the cave and that it was also like a little garden with lots of potential and space.”

“I had 2 dresses a princess dress and a mermaid dress. I really couldn’t decide between the two designs as I had always envisioned myself in a princess dress on my wedding day but I also really loved the mermaid design so I got both.”

“For my bridal bouquet I originally picked pastel colours, lilac, baby pinks and white colours.”

“I really wanted a summery, happy vibe without being too bright or too neutral.”

“The best moment of my wedding was being surrounded by people that love and support you, family being together and having fun. Our first dance as we took classes so we couldn’t wait to perform even though we were nervous it was lots of fun.”

The ceremony took place in Agia Triada Rosiki, Russian Orthodox Church.”

“I was pretty specific with wedding decoration from cutlery, table setting, chairs, gift boxes. I liked the gold, white and black theme for cutlery.”

“For the gift boxes I found this image on pinterest and the company that made our gift boxes made the exact same ones that I wanted (I was very happy with them).”

“I mainly used Pinterest for all my ideas.”

“My advice for a bride-to-be is take your time don’t rush anything, do a lot of research and know/ be confident in what you want.”
