Gethsimani and Vasilis envisioned a chic, less-is-more wedding day in Athens, filled with all-white florals and overflowing with romance and Vassiliki Creations brought every detail to life with effortless elegance. Their love story feels like it came straight from the pages of a sweet teenage romance. They met at school, fell in love during their final year of high school and eventually found their way to forever. The proposal took place on Vasilis’ birthday during a weekend getaway to Porto Heli that had started as a surprise for him, only to become the biggest surprise of all for her. Set at Amaltheia The Place, a stunning venue where a picturesque chapel, a beach-style pool, modern architecture and natural elements blend beautifully with the spirit of summer, the celebration embraced a palette of crisp whites. Baby’s breath, roses and calla lilies created a minimal yet romantic atmosphere that felt both sophisticated and inviting. The church entrance was adorned with an asymmetrical arch overflowing with baby’s breath, while Gethsimani’s bouquet of white calla lilies perfectly complemented her bridal look. At the bridal reception, white roses, delicate arrangements of baby’s breath and candlelight brought a sense of timeless romance and understated beauty to every table. Gethsimani looked radiant in a Demetrios wedding gown featuring delicate straps, a V-neckline, lace details, intricate beadwork and an open back. As she shared with us, «My wedding dress was love at first sight. It was from Demetrios Greece. It honestly felt as though it had been created just for me, exactly as I had always imagined it. A true jewel…» Enjoy every beautiful moment from this summer celebration of love and let it inspire your own unforgettable wedding day.

«Vasilis and I met at school, but we fell in love during our final year of high school. It was truly a teenage love story that turned into forever. He proposed on his birthday. It was something I never expected because we had planned a weekend getaway to Porto Heli with our friends as a surprise for him. In the end, one surprise followed another.»

Our wedding decoration was designed by the wonderful Vassiliki Creations, who also served as our wedding planner. We agreed on something that really reflected my personal style: baby’s breath, candles, white roses displayed in glass vases and a few mirrors. Simple and beautiful. We followed a less is more approach. My bridal bouquet was designed in the same style and featured white calla lilies wrapped with a white satin ribbon.

«Our favorite moment from the wedding was the entire day itself, a day that will remain forever etched in our lives as the best day we have ever experienced. From beginning to end, it felt as though we were living inside a fairytale. The love we received from everyone around us was unlike anything we had ever felt before.»

«The advice I would give to a bride who is planning her wedding right now is to truly enjoy it. Let go of any negative thoughts and allow yourself to experience every emotion that comes with both the day itself and the journey leading up to it. Feel everything fully, from the stress and anticipation to the love and emotion. Fall in love with that day and with your partner, all over again. And don’t let yourself worry about anything that might go wrong. The only thing that truly matters is the energy between the couple. That is what will stay with your guests long after the day is over.»
