“We met in Aegina in 2010 through mutual friends. I can’t tell you about the wedding proposal, but what I can tell you is that I was crying at random moments for two days about it…”

“The best decision we took was that we planned and organized everything by ourselves. Because we chose Santorini to host our wedding, we went there 2 months before and stayed there for three days to organize everything. We discovered step by step everything we wanted to have. The truth is that we both felt that someone was guiding us and it was probably our positive energy. We don’t even remember any bad choice that we may have made!”

“Our wedding took place at the chapel of Saint Apostles in Pyrgos, Santorini”

“After we found the chapel that would host our wedding, a beautiful little monastery chapel with earthly colors, and the amazing restaurant for our reception, at Vedema Resort we chose the style of our wedings. The restaurant is among some very old wineries of the island, which was also with earthly colors. As a result, our wedding had a monastery style and earthly color palette”.

“For my bridal bouquet, Markella (the flower designer)  and I chose white avalanche roses with some autumn leaves and five vanilla sticks”.

“I chose the wedding decoration to fit the style of our wedding. I was happy to use candle stands instead of the classic big candles and we decorated them with flowers, gauze amd candles. We also picked up some eucalyptus branches with my husband, during our walks, which we used to decorate the monastery type tables in the Canava Hall of the Vedema Resort hotel, where we had our wedding party. I also chose natural scented candles”.

“My advice is to avoid exaggerations and to have few people you trust by your side who can help you enjoy the process of preparation and organization, because it is something special”.
