The wedding styled shoot we are sharing today is overflowing with romance, beauty and elegance! A wonderful location full of greenery was the idyllic backdrop for this fairytale shoot emitting tranquility and purity against to the modern way of life. A perfect setting in the heart of nature decorated beautifully with lots of flowers and white candles combined with elegant tableware in white and gold hues. The female figure was such a beauty wearing a romantic wedding dress with lace details which matched perfectly to a traditional garden wedding. Enjoy every detail through the following photos and be inspired if you are dreaming of having an outdoor garden wedding!
Kimberley Rose Designs shared with us: “Step back in time to a world of glamour, style, sophistication and graceful elegance. Where romance blossomed under watchful eyes and often amidst unspoken words that stay locked up in the heart”.
“An era where simple gestures such as a look or a favourite book are the loveliest of mementos to remember the beloved by. A time where romance was not always expressed verbally or openly like in our modern day but still felt deeply with the briefest of touch or the gentlest gaze. Where the whisper of a kiss means so much more…”
“It is against this backdrop that we present our downton inspired garden party wedding shoot. Downton was a phenomenon that took the modern world by storm when it first hit our screens back in 20111 and even after the series came to an end, folks are still craving for a series 7! Maybe because deep down we still crave a return to the old world from our modern day; a much more relaxed time with a slower pace of life, where simple gestures mean so much”.
“Weddings are happy times when two hearts, two lives and two families get to celebrate all that is good about the love they share. The garden party is the culmination of all that is wonderful about this era; a time to gather together and celebrate, an era of relaxed formality (hence garden). A time when families gathered together to celebrate all that is good about life and love.”
“Nurstead Court provided the perfect backdrop for this shoot. It had that period look that is so remise of downton and the vast grounds provided the backdrop for the relaxed garden party setup that I was going for as well as the mini picnic for the newly weds. It is such a good choice for couples who want a bit of the traditional and yet happy to put their own stamp on their day”.
“I hope this shoot and all the beautiful details contained within helps to convey that sense of relaxed formality that downton is known for and provides ample inspiration for you as you plan your own big day.”
