At first glance, Bruna and Alfonso’s destination wedding at the beautiful Iokasti Venue draws you into a day where every detail feels even more enchanting than the last. From their Lake Como proposal, where Bruna shared that «I lived one of the most magical nights of my life, surrounded by the people who mean the most to me. It was a dream, just like our wedding.», to every thoughtful element curated with exceptional care by the talented wedding planning team of Iokasti Venue, the celebration embraced a romantic, wanderlust inspired aesthetic shaped, as the bride herself said, by their love for travel and the natural beauty of Greece. Among the details that stood out, the bride revealed that the greek wedding site Love4Weddings played a key role in planning her wedding from abroad, helping her discover the wedding vendors who perfectly matched her vision. White roses, orchids and baby’s breath framed the entrance of the church, while touches of white, green, pink and dusty blue appeared everywhere, from her unique bouquet of fuchsia peonies, roses, orchids, pink dahlias and dusty blue delphinium to the chic styling of the reception. The sweetheart table at Iokasti Venue impressed with a cascading arrangement of white roses, baby’s breath, orchids and eucalyptus, while the reception tables were adorned with white florals set on round mirrors and number cards illustrated with city sketches, adding subtle travel inspired notes. The exquisite menu of fine Greek flavors crafted by Anagnostopoulos Catering offered a truly memorable culinary experience. Many decorative touches shared stories from their life together, like the embroidered hoop favors featuring a world map with little red hearts marking meaningful locations, while one of the most emotional moments for Bruna was the presence of a Volkswagen Beetle, a symbol of her deep bond with her father. We invite you to get swept away in this beautiful love story!

«We first met online in an online course in 2021. In the beginning, it was a long-distance relationship. He was living in Switzerland and I was in Ireland. After three months of talking every day, we finally met in person in Athens. He had lived there before and was going back for a trip, so he invited me. I went with my friends, he went with his and we saw each other for the first time at Bolivar Beach Bar. From that moment on, we never let go. We spent perfect days together, started dating long-distance, and we’ve been together ever since. That’s why we chose Athens for our wedding, the city means so much to us. A few months later, we moved in together.»

«After two years without seeing my brother, Alfonso surprised me by bringing him from Brazil, which almost gave me a heart attack. That same night, we packed our bags and headed to Lake Como. I had no idea what was coming. When we arrived at the Airbnb, the whole place was decorated with candles, just like Monica and Chandler’s proposal in Friends and Ed Sheeran was playing. Before I could process anything, he got down on one knee and proposed. I asked who had prepared everything, and suddenly my best friend (who had flown from Dublin) appeared shouting “surprise!”, along with his best friend too. I lived one of the most magical nights of my life, surrounded by the people who mean the most to me. It was a dream, just like our wedding.»

«For our wedding day, we chose a romantic and elegant aesthetic inspired by our love for travel and by the natural beauty of Greece. The decoration combined soft, timeless elements with meaningful personal touches. We used white roses, orchids, and baby’s breath as the main flowers, creating a dreamy and delicate atmosphere throughout the venue. My bridal bouquet followed the same feeling compact, colorful, and vibrant, matching my personality and bringing a touch of life to the dusty blue palette of the day. »

Love4Weddings truly helped me throughout the planning, especially because I was organizing everything from abroad. I actually discovered Love4Weddings through Instagram, where I found so much inspiration, especially for decoration. Your posts and weddings gave me so many ideas during the process, and also helped me to discover vendors, since I had no wedding planner, so every wedding you posted I checked the vendors and contacted the ones we liked. And if I’m not mistaken, I once read an article on your website about a Brazilian wedding that even had a carnaval band. That story inspired me a lot and encouraged me to bring a bit of our own culture into the wedding in our own way.

«My bridesmaids wore dusty blue, which became my “something blue.” One of the most emotional details was the presence of a Volkswagen Beetle, a symbol of my connection to my father and a cherished part of my memories. All the music was chosen based on our own history and the food brought together our favorite flavors with touches from Spain and Brazil to honor the homes and cultures that formed us. »

«I followed the site of Love4Weddings, in the very beginning with inspirations and find some vendors! From the site we found our photographer, Apostolis Platanias Photography. The best!»

«That was difficult to choose one moment as my favorite from our wedding, but I would say the moment of our vows. It felt like it was just the two of us, sharing our most beautiful memories and promises. And also the dinner afterward, sitting there after everything, just us, noticing every detail, seeing how perfectly everything turned out, and watching the people you love the most enjoying it. It’s truly priceless!»

The advice I would give to a bride who is now planning her wedding is to enjoy the process and the day! Everything goes by so fast. Don’t worry about what you can’t control, because you can’t control everything. Just relax and savor, every glance, every smile and hug, everything you spent so much time choosing. Live the moment to the fullest and trust the photographers to capture the most beautiful, spotaneous memories!

«My wedding dress was was love at first sight! The moment I tried on the first dress in the first store, I just cried. It was sexy yet romantic, detailed yet minimal and perfectly blending elegance with gentle sparkles. Timeless and effortlessly modern, it featured an A-line silhouette that flattered beautifully, delicate lace for softness and sophistication and a deep V neckline adding a touch of contemporary femininity. The subtle shimmer in the fabric caught the light gracefully and the layers of tulle and lace created movement without being heavy, giving it a dreamy, ethereal feel. I felt like a princess and it was so special that both my childhood best friend and my adult best friend said it couldn’t have been more me, which made me even happier with my choice!»
