«We had been together 10 years before we got engaged. Growing up in a village together, knowing each other since we were 15. In 2022 we stayed at a holiday cottage in the Cotswold’s with my family. Where Stephane proposed with our 4-month-old wearing a vest saying, ‘mummy will you marry daddy?’. The cottage is special to us. We stayed there in 2021 when I told my family we were expecting our son! », bride shared with us.
«We decided to get married 9 months after getting engaged. I have always wanted to get married abroad. To start planning I reached out to Dionysos resort in Kefalonia where Stephane and I had our first holiday together in 2013, 10 years ago! We also had our last holiday there before Covid came. We had a very intimate wedding with family attending. Our families came together, and our son, nieces and nephew had their first abroad holidays to attend the wedding too. My younger sister, Georgina, was my bridesmaid. Her dress color choice inspired the blush roses we requested for our flowers along with a lot of greenery. Maria at the wedding venue was very helpful arranging our requests in Greece. Although we had thunderstorms the morning of the wedding, we had to move the reception inside due to the forecast. The day exceeded expectations. We had our ceremony, first dance and cake cutting outside. After our first dance the DJ continued playing music outside and everyone was having fun and dancing. We had personalized sunglasses for wedding favors, but everyone was grateful. The Greek dancers we had as entertainment were great. We watched them dance in fire and smash plates, even us throwing a few plates after! The day was one we will never forget. Such special memories in one of our favorite places. »

«I knew what style of dress I wanted and was conscious it must fit in a small suitcase for the plane! At the time I needed a dress I could nurse my son in. This was my main concern. I had to feed him three times in my dress on our wedding day! My dress was perfect, fit my figure and glistened in the light. My mum, sister and I knew it was the one! »
