Coastal weddings in Crete always have a way of staying with us, especially when they unfold in a setting as breathtaking as Elounda in the Fall. Hlib and Liliia chose to celebrate their love at Art Villas Greece, and more specifically at the Emotion Art Villa, a spectacular property perched on a small hill overlooking the bay of Mirabello and just a short walk from the village. With its modern design, amphitheater at the rear, multiple dining areas, sunken lounge by the swimming pool and even a faux beach area perfect for ceremonies, the venue offered a complete destination experience, thoughtfully orchestrated by Double A Weddings. The couple embraced a chic romantic style built around a white color palette that blended seamlessly with the sea and sky, allowing the landscape to take center stage. Floral design by En Kipo Flower Creations featured roses, anthuriums, lysianthus and delicate baby’s breath woven with green foliage in shades of white, creating sculptural ceremony arrangements that framed the horizon and long reception tables dressed in crisp linens. Calla lilies rose elegantly from glass vessels, while grapes and green fruit were artfully placed along the tablescape, adding an organic touch that felt both fresh and intentional. Liliia carried a bouquet of white blooms and greenery that echoed the overall aesthetic, simple and airy, perfectly in tune with the seaside setting. The entire day unfolded with ease, from the ceremony overlooking the water to a dinner that flowed into a joyful evening celebration under the Cretan sky. As the bride shared, «My favorite moment from my wedding was the entire wedding was absolutely amazing and felt like it passed in a single moment. It was filled with so many emotions, beautiful details, and unforgettable memories that the day flew by before we even realized it.» It was a destination wedding that felt intimate yet expansive, modern yet timeless, and truly reflective of the place and the people who gathered to celebrate.

«We met through a dating app. What started as a simple online connection quickly turned into something much deeper and step by step we realized we had found our person. The proposal was intimate and very us. He proposed με in a café, in a calm and cozy atmosphere, without any big show . It was simple, genuine, and incredibly special, which made it perfect for us!»

«Our wedding decoration was elegant, light, and very natural, perfectly matching the seaside setting. We chose a soft white and neutral color palette that blended beautifully with the sand, the sea, and the sky. The flowers were mainly white blooms with delicate greenery, creating a fresh and timeless look. The bridal bouquet followed the same style: simple, airy, and refined, without anything too heavy or overwhelming. The ceremony décor was minimal yet very romantic: floral arrangements in white tones, clean lines and lots of natural light. We especially loved the moment with flower petals being thrown during the ceremony, it added so much emotion and joy to the atmosphere. Everything felt effortless, not overdecorated, but very thoughtful and harmonious. For the wedding reception, the décor continued in the same relaxed and elegant style. What we enjoyed most was how everything felt warm and celebratory rather than formal. The evening dinner and the party afterward were unforgettable: full of laughter, good energy, and beautiful moments with our guests. Be the most special moment of the entire wedding for me was seeing the groom during the ceremony. That moment was truly emotional and meaningful and it will stay in my heart forever.»

«My wedding dress was elegant, modern, and perfectly suited to a seaside ceremony. I had it custom-made, which allowed every detail to reflect my vision and personality. The dress featured a strapless silhouette with a beautifully structured bodice that highlighted the figure. The fabric had a subtle shimmer, catching the light softly and adding a refined, festive feel without being too heavy. One of the standout details was the high slit, which added a touch of boldness and movement, making the dress feel light, confident, and perfect for walking on the sand. The overall style was minimal yet feminine, timeless, airy and very natural. It felt comfortable, effortless, and special at the same time, exactly how I wanted to feel on my wedding day.»

The advice I would give to a bride who is now planning her wedding is that a wedding is your time to relax and truly enjoy. Let yourself be present, enjoy every moment and don’t try to control everything, the most beautiful memories come when you simply let go and feel the day.
