When the backdrop is as powerful as the Santorini caldera, there is little need to add much else and Brittany and Daniel understood that perfectly. High school sweethearts who have been together for 12 years and counting, their story began during part time jobs in their teenage years and carried them all the way to a winter morning on the Brooklyn Bridge in New York, where under freezing temperatures, they took the next step into what would become one of the most meaningful years of their lives. Their wedding in Santorini embraced the island’s raw beauty, with the ceremony set high above the caldera, where the endless blue of the Aegean and the dramatic cliffs created a sense of scale that few places can match. Rows of white chairs and sculptural white floral arrangements were arranged with intention, allowing the landscape to remain the true focal point of the day. “We kept our wedding styling very minimalistic as we didn’t want to take away from the breathe taking view of the Caldera. I love the colour white and how simplistic it is and never goes out of fashion…”, the bride shared with us, a sentiment that echoed through every detail of the celebration. Every moment was captured amazingly by Eva Rendl Photography, resulting in a gorgeous gallery of a Santorini wedding that will definitely have you swooning!

«Dan and I are high school sweethearts and have been together for 12 years and counting. We met at our part time jobs in high school and the rest is history. We got engaged on our holiday to the USA in one of favourite cities, New York. It was a -2 degree morning on the Brooklyn bridge on one of the only sunny days of our trip. It was the 2nd of Jan 2024 and the perfect start to one of the most amazing years.»

«We kept our wedding styling very minimalistic as we didn’t want to take away from the breathe taking view of the Caldera. I love the colour white and how simplistic it is and never goes out of fashion. Matching in white the white cliffs you see in the background. A subtle touch of green was the only colour needed in the styling. We sat in one long table with all our guests and loved the look of it and was one of my favourite parts of the evening was having everyone together to share a meal as newly weds. The touch of the over head lightings was also another touch I loved. It made the space cosey and warm feeling. Lit up the space incredibly.»

«My wedding dress was from an Australian Designer Lola Varma. She is Melbourne based creating stunning simplistic dresses for all styles. I really wanted my dress to suit its environment. So i went with something soft and flowy.»

The advice I would give to a bride who is now planning her wedding is to not take it so seriously and try and enjoy the day as much as you can because it goes very wuick. Get up early and have a moment to yourself.
