Today we are travelling to the beautiful island of Kalymnos where was filmed the summer wedding video of Joanna and Charis! The lovely couple met and fell in love in Kalymnos, so the island was the ideal place to exchange vows of eternal love. The bride shared with us: “We met in Kalymnos in 2010. Our cousins are close friends and we met through them. I then lived in London and Charis is from Sydney to Australia. We kept contact by sending messages every two months, and we were discussing the possibility of getting somewhere in the middle like in Thailand. But that never happened. We both returned to Kalymnos two years later where we fell in love. At that time, Charis was trying to convince me to move to Australia to be together and 6 weeks later we said goodbye to Kalymnos and I was on the flight to Sydney! “Charis proposed me in a very simply way. We had just bought our first home together and the same day we got the keys, we went to see it again and proposed me in the dining room. “
“The best moment of our wedding day for me was the church ceremony and then the photoshoot and video on the beach. Our photographer Janice and the filmmakers Rodrigo and Pericles were all very professional. They were so good at capturing moments when we did not even realize it. Εven when we were a little awkward, they allowed us to enjoy the fact that we had just married.”
