“It was a hung-over Sunday in London and we both swiped right on a dating app. I came home and Alexandros said he had learnt how to play our favorite song on guitar. He sung it for me and then pulled out a sparkly diamond”.
“The wedding decorations were beach side boho. Flowers were mixed white with a combination of Eucalyptus and Olive tree branches to signify my Australian roots and his Greek. Candles on every table were a must for outdoor mood lighting. The ceremony was in a beautifully decorated Greek church by the sea with a very funny priest. The wedding reception was at Akrotiri Venue, a stunning outdoor space on the side of a cliff, with spectacular sea views and a beautiful sunset. Being in the music industry, the DJ had to be perfect. We ate a lot, drank a lot and danced until 5am”.
“The best moment was when Alexandros sung our favorite song to me that we got engaged to, in front of all our guests”.
Bride’s advice: “Remember that it’s fun! Don’t sweat the small stuff. Organizing a wedding can be stressful but ultimately, you’re going to forget all that and have the best night of your life. Enjoy the process”.
