When timeless elegance meets natural beauty, the result is a wedding you never forget, just like Vicky and Stavros’ celebration at Alsos Agiou Nikolaou in Naousa, a charming town that perfectly embraced their special day. Philanthia Events took care of the wedding planning, creating a chic setting with clean lines and a soft white palette, as the bride shares, «Our wedding decoration followed a minimal aesthetic with white as the dominant color. For my bridal bouquet I wanted a monochrome look made of a single flower, so without much thought I chose white roses, arranged at different heights to give a more relaxed and less structured feel…», a philosophy reflected in every detail. The church entrance was adorned with a semicircular arch of white roses, baby’s breath, and lush greenery, while the reception unfolded outdoors beneath the trees, with rows of lights gently floating overhead as evening fell. Reception tables were styled with low arrangements of white roses, lisianthus, baby’s breath, and greenery, paired with candleholders holding white candles and clear glass vases that added height and an airy sense of freedom, allowing the natural surroundings to take center stage. Everything came together beautifully in a minimal chic outdoor wedding that invites us to soak in every lovely moment.

«We first met at school, back in high school, but our relationship began several years later after a chance meeting at a café in the small town we both come from brought us back in touch. I was still a student and had returned for the weekend since I was living in Thessaloniki, while Stavros had graduated the previous year and had moved back permanently from Volos to work there. The marriage proposal happened in Barcelona, on the city’s beach, Barceloneta. The trip had been planned with our group of friends for a music festival taking place in June 2024. Stavros had arranged everything early on. With the help of his sister, Effi, they found a planner in Barcelona who organizes similar events, and a beautiful setup was created with decorations, lights, music, champagne, and fireworks. I was shocked and completely surprised because I had not suspected anything at all, and that made it even more special. Of course all our friends were in on it and shared in our joy, which turned into a beach party. We also cannot forget the tourists who watched everything, applauded us, and some even filmed us. It was a wonderful night!»

«I visited the site of Love4Weddings, especially during the early stages of my search, to find inspiration for colors, the style of the decoration and the bouquet.»

«My wedding dress was exactly what I had imagined. I first found it by chance while searching on social media and immediately fell in love with it. Then I searched to see where I could find it in Greece. That is how I discovered that the bridal house Sposa Moda, which I already knew, collaborates with this designer, and I booked my first appointment in Thessaloniki. The choice was very easy for me. It was the first dress I tried on, during my very first visit to a bridal boutique, and I never regretted it for a moment. In short, it was meant to be!»

My advice to a bride who is planning her wedding now is that although everyone experiences this journey differently, what matters most is to truly live it and enjoy it without panic!

«Overall the style and mood of the entire wedding revolved around white tones with roses, baby’s breath and lisianthus. My favorite decoration element was the arch we placed around the church entrance, with white candles on the sides, a spot we also used a lot for photos after the ceremony. The reception took place outdoors at Alsos Agiou Nikolaou in Naoussa. The same flowers and color palette were used for the décor. For lighting we chose string lights placed above the dance floor and the tables, along with party lights. On each reception table we placed baby’s breath and white roses inside ouzo glasses, our wedding favors for each guest which were rose shaped candles in white and green shades and gold table lamps.»

«Our favorite wedding moment was when we entered the reception with our koumbaroi and saw our family and friends waiting for us on the dance floor ready to celebrate. We shared unforgettable moments of joy, excitement and emotion. For me the most important thing was that our wedding felt like one big celebration, a party until the morning with endless dancing and fun, in a unique place where all our loved ones were gathered together!»
