Flash De Vie transports us beautifully to Nicosia, where Elena and Giannis celebrated a wedding that truly glowed within the cozy charm of Christmas. The church entrance was dressed in lush evergreen garlands adorned with red, gold and silver ornaments, little bells, ribbons and shimmering details, while Christmas trees, pinecones and arrangements of burgundy roses, mini roses, eucalyptus and cypress created an atmosphere filled with festive magic. Choosing to marry during the holidays was no coincidence, since Christmas is Elena’s favorite time of year and the proposal had come on New Year’s Day during those joyful celebrations. «Our favorite moment was walking into the church during the ceremony to the sound of Ave Maria. Holding your partner’s hand and walking down a path inside the church that you will later walk again as husband and wife was a deeply moving moment for me.» she shared, reflecting on that heartfelt entrance. Their winter wonderland theme continued with a striking three tier naked cake from New York Sweets featuring chocolate layers, white cream and fresh red and white blooms, a wedding cake that instantly captured everyone’s attention. The reception tables glowed with white and red floral centerpieces surrounded by an abundance of candles that brought warmth and romance to the entire space. Enjoy with us every lovely detail of this festive celebration.

«We had been together for three years and he proposed during my favorite time of the year, the Christmas holidays, specifically on New Year’s Day»

«I followed the greek site of Love4Weddings mostly for the decoration. I gathered a few ideas, especially for the styling.»

«I planned our wedding in six months, so my advice to a bride who is now planning hers is that you really do not need more time. What matters is keeping a good spirit and avoiding stress. The only advice I would give is to stay in constant communication with your partner throughout the planning and to set boundaries so that no outside voices interfere.»

«Since we had decided to get married on 29/12, during the Christmas season which is also my favorite time of year, we chose burgundy as the main color for our wedding décor. Our flowers, created with so much love by Secreto Events, were deep burgundy roses, mini roses in the same shade, eucalyptus, cypress and lush greenery. The reception tables followed the same tones, but because of the season and the festive feel, we wanted plenty of candles on every table. Everything was beautiful. So was the venue. Project and More Events is gorgeous for both winter and summer weddings. Because it was winter, we chose the indoor space which felt wonderfully cozy and we fell in love with it instantly. It was exactly what we had imagined. With all the wood that surrounds the space from the tables to the ceiling, combined with the glass walls and the fairy lights, it creates a warm and welcoming atmosphere, which was exactly what we hoped for. We wanted our guests to feel comfortable, enjoy themselves wholeheartedly and stay with us as long as possible.»
