Something truly special draws us in from the very first moment in this summer chic wedding of Eleftheria and Giorgos on Syros, where the elegance of Ermoupoli meets the island beauty of the Cyclades. Their story began when Eleftheria, a Pilates instructor, met Giorgos in a class that left him so unexpectedly happy that he soon found himself looking for a way to see her again, setting the beginnings of a journey that brought them to this day. The neoclassical buildings and marble steps of Agios Nikolaos frame a setting that highlights every detail, while Eleftheria chose from Primalicia Bridal Designers a stylish mermaid wedding gown adorned with thousands of sequins and a satin coverdress that added a distinct character to her look. Their day unfolds through the beautiful imagery of Ephos Photography and one of those moments has stayed with her: «Our favorite moment was the giving away at the church. That moment when I was walking and saw Giorgos standing on the steps and he was waiting for me!» the bride shared, a detail that makes their story even sweeter and sets the tone for everything that follows.

«For me, meeting him felt like just another workday at the gym. At eight in the morning he walked in for his first Pilates class. My first impression? Half asleep, a bit rough, with this look of “I know everything”. And I was thinking, wow, what an attitude so early in the day! He acted like he knew it all, but he clearly didn’t!»

«For Giorgos the moment we met was: “That same day when, luckily for me, I chose to train with Eleftheria. With no motivation, a blasé attitude and a complete failure in executing the exercises. But something happened. With her energy, with her aura, I left the class strangely happy. I didn’t know why… until I understood. And from that moment on, I couldn’t stop looking for a way to see her again. Finally, after several attempts and fifteen days of waiting, we went on our first date. Our first date was on Christmas and from that day, something magical blossomed.”»

«The wedding proposal happened on Christmas Eve. My father had come from Germany and we had all gathered at our new home. I was relaxing on the couch in my pajamas, completely undone. Suddenly, Giorgos says: «I’ll go get coffee, do you want me to bring you some?» I look at him and say: «Unbelievable! You’re leaving now to get coffee? Stay here with us!» He insists. And of course, my father supports him: «yes, yes, go, I want a little coffee now!» So I say: «Fine, since you want coffee so badly, go.» As he leaves, Giorgos is wearing sweatpants and takes a trash bag with him, obviously full of trash, what else? A little later the doorbell rings, and I say: «really, he didn’t take keys with him?» Still lying on the couch, I call my dad to open the door! Dad goes to the door and then Giorgos walks in. But not the way he left. In a suit, all dressed up, holding flowers, sweets, with a smile and two coffees in his hand! I’m in shock! He starts talking to my father and within seconds we were all crying from emotion. And of course, the cherry on top, the engagement ring! I couldn’t find it anywhere until it was finally revealed inside the bouquet, hidden among the red roses. And just like that, in the simplest, truest and most magical moment, our “forever” began.»

«Our favorite moment was the giving away at the church. That moment when I was walking and saw Giorgos standing on the steps and he was waiting for me!»

«My bridal bouquet was white roses. The decoration style we chose was aristocratic. Everything was wonderful, both at the church and at the reception, exactly as we had dreamed it! Something I loved was the guestbook, the tray and our favors, all handmade by a wonderful girl who created them for us. They truly made a difference!»

«Ahhh, my wedding dress from Primalicia Bridal Designers, I simply fell in love with it, it was dazzling, aristocratic and unique!»

The advice I would give to a bride who is now planning her wedding is to not stress, to enjoy it and to hold every moment of that day forever in her memory.
