Antigoni and Giannis take us on a destination wedding that blends style, authenticity and heartfelt emotion in the most beautiful way. Traveling from the United States to Greece, they came to officially celebrate their relationship and create a day they will remember forever. From the stunning church entrance adorned with asymmetrical semi circle floral arches of white roses, chrysanthemums, wax flowers, eucalyptus and subtle metallic touches in gold tones, to the reception tables set beneath countless twinkling lights thoughtfully designed by Gia Sena Mono – Olga Georgiadis, every detail radiated romance. «Because we also had guests coming from America, we wanted to add a touch of ancient Greece, that is why we included little ancient Greek style statues in the church decorations.», the bride shared with us, explaining the inspiration behind their unique styling. Antigoni looked radiant in her Justin Alexander gown, a fitted silhouette with a deep neckline and low back that highlighted her femininity with understated elegance. The celebration continued at the reception, where the couple and their loved ones lived every moment with joy and emotion.

«We met through a mutual friend from Larissa while we were living on opposite sides of the United States, so there was no chance we would have met otherwise. We first started talking on the phone and our relationship began long distance. For the proposal he planned a trip to Miami, Florida because he knew how much I love traveling and that I wanted the proposal to happen somewhere warm and beautiful. He proposed to me on the beach.»

«I followed Love4Weddings while planning my wedding from America, mostly looking for ideas for the church décor and the reception.»

The favorite moment of my wedding day was when we had a few minutes just the two of us and we could truly feel the joy of the moment because the day goes by so quickly. Also neither Giannis nor I like being the center of attention so we enjoyed it when the guests started dancing and we could stay a bit on our own or talk one on one with people.Antigoni , Bride

«My wedding dress was from a bridal boutique in Los Angeles. At first I was looking for A line gowns and I did not want a fitted dress at all because I thought it wouldn’t look flattering on me. Luckily I invited my mom and my girlfriends to the fittings and I was also sending photos to family and friends in Greece and everyone encouraged me to try a fitted silhouette, which is what I eventually chose. At first I thought nothing looked good on me and I was starting to get stressed. The dress was fitted with a long train and lace details especially on the bodice. The original dress had a high slit on the leg which I didn’t want so they sent it without it. I recommend every bride to try every style of wedding dress because you never know what you will end up choosing.»

«For our wedding décor we wanted everything to feel stylish and classy, so we chose shades of white, gold and champagne. Because we also had guests coming from America we wanted to add a touch of ancient Greece, that is why we included little ancient Greek style statues in the church decorations. We were thrilled with the table details from our planner, who suggested placing the favors on the tables to avoid confusion outside the church. We also added a beautiful gold charger under each plate and a thank you card. They also created a gorgeous lighting stand that started behind the sweetheart table and stretched over the entire dance floor. It was dreamy and we received so many compliments from our guests.»

«My advice to a bride who is planning her wedding now is to be absolutely sure about the wedding professionals she chooses for things like hair, makeup or anything else and if she has even the smallest doubt she shouldn’t hesitate to look elsewhere. She should be honest if something does not feel right and not settle.»
