Studio Tsolis

Studio Tsolis is a family-run photography business that has had a studio in beautiful Kastoria since 1963. It was founded by Athanasios Tsolis, who became a mentor in photography to Tasos and Maria, the current owners of the studio. He was one of the few highly skilled photographers of his generation in studio photography.

Maria and Tasos continued his work, taking part in international competitions and winning awards abroad for portrait and wedding photography. They have also photographed weddings internationally, especially in the Dubai area, including royal weddings.

Both are members of the international UK-based association SWPP, the Society of Wedding and Portrait Photographers, and hold the titles LSWPP, Licentiate of the Society of Wedding and Portrait Photographers, and ASWPP, Associate of the Society of Wedding and Portrait Photographers. They are also members of WPPI, Wedding and Portrait Photographers International, based in the United States.

Maria is a Master WPPI and the first Greek female photographer to earn this title.
Today, their two children are also part of the business: Konstantina, who studied at Leica Academy and is based in Cardiff, England, and Thanos, a graduate of the School of Fine Arts, who specializes in cinematic wedding films and other video productions.
