Juskiran and Vaibhav know how to host a celebration that feels joyful, layered and full of personality and somehow look completely relaxed while doing it. Planned beautifully by Esthesis Events, their three day wedding unfolded as a thoughtfully styled journey, each event carrying its own mood while still feeling connected through a clear visual direction shaped by a carefully curated mood board. From the start, color played a leading role, especially during the Indian ceremony where vibrant tones were chosen to sit beautifully alongside the rituals and outfits. The Mayian ceremony leaned into sunny haldi shades, with yellows and oranges setting the tone and faux florals suspended behind them to frame the moment. The Sangeet Night, held at Arbora Olea Luxury Resorts, turned the volume all the way up with pinks, oranges and purples layered through flowers, cushions, rugs and traditional Indian decorations brought from India, all glowing under fairy lights as The Sparkling Van kept the atmosphere lively. Makeup by Michalis Tsotras tied each look together effortlessly across the days. The wedding reception at La Pelegrina softened into a boho inspired scene with rustic dried flowers, eucalyptus, candles and fairy lights, letting the ocean backdrop do much of the work while a triangular arch dressed in pampas, dried florals and white tones marked the symbolic ceremony. «I enjoyed the pops of colours and the flowers looked absolutely stunning on the Anand Karaj, I loved it all but those colours really stood out with our outfits too. I wanted the theme to flow through, with the dried flowers and keeping with the nature theme and what was in season.» the beautiful bride shared with us. This multi day celebration is a layered story of colour, culture and intention, one that stays with you long after the final song fades. Enjoy all the beautiful moments from this destination indian wedding in Crete!

«We met on the dance floor at a wedding in 2019, having a Bhangra dance off, we danced for at least 10 minutes, neither one of us giving up and I think I had to ask him if he was going to stop. Vaibahv proposed me in Vancouver, we were going out for his pre-birthday dinner to a beautiful restaurant with an incredible view, I did not suspect anything as it was near his birthday and we had to dress up for the dinner. He surprised me, by stopping near the views out by the harbourside overlooking the mountains. He gave me a poem to read and asked me to turn away to read it, he writes poetry, so I still did not suspect a thing, I thought it was heartfelt and he wanted me to read it thoroughly without seeing him, as I turned to him, he was down on one knee with the most beautiful ring I have ever seen.»

«I got my Mayain outfit and Sangeet outfit in Birmingham England. I wanted something which felt very me, the mustard colour was a bit out of the ordinary for me, but I fell in love with it once I tried it on and my family vetoed me and told me to buy it and I am so glad I did. We took this outfit to India and my husband was able to match all his outfits to mine as the base. The sangeet had a more whimsical feel to it, with birds and flowers on it, I loved the design and it felt very me, it fit beautifully and the design was so elegantly done, very naturey, which is my vibe. My husband wore ivory and a waste coast which had elephant embroidery, pinks and yellow in it, and it complemented my outfit. The Anand Karaj was hand embroidered, I found this outfit in Amritsar in India and it was acutally originally in a light pink, but had it custom made for me and in a deep red, the embroidery and work was stunning and detailed and it was heavy but the craftsmanship really shone through. My husband used the shade of the embroidery which was a champagne colour for his outfit which brought the 2 together. We wanted to compliment, not match in shade so we both stood out not blended in. For the reception I went with a boho style outfit. I wanted something that felt ready for the beach, flowy with lace and I found it in England it was actually the first dress I tried on and I loved the split and a leg moment and the off the shoulder part. The detail was stunning, but I also wanted to bring in some Indian elements with the head piece and jewellery. My husband wore a green suit, which worked beautifully with our setting and decorations and he stood out but we looked cohesive.»

«We had a 3 day wedding event, so each day had a slightly different theme and I created a mood board to help me with my ideas. For the Indian ceremony I wanted to embrace colour and compliment the ceremonies and out outfit. Mayain Ceremony was with sunny shades, yellow orange and haldi hues (oranges and yellows, we had faux yellow and orange flowers hanging behind us for the ceremony as a backdrop). Sangeet Night was bold and beautiful, the brigher the better (pinks, oranges and purple – flowers, cushions, rugs, Indian decorations from India to hang down from trees and umbrellas) we also had fairy lights Anand Karaj, deep colours, graceful tradition (dried flowers with some green and red, we had them on the tables and around). The wedding reception was boho chic: light, flowy and sophisticated (rustic, dried flowers, eucalyptus on the table with candles and fairy lights, we had a great backdrop of the ocean, so not too much decoration needed, we had a triange (arch) for the symbolic ceremony we dried flower with pampas and some white.»

I enjoyed the pops of colours and the flowers looked absolutely stunning on the Anand Karaj, I loved it all but those colours really stood out with our outfits too. I wanted the theme to flow through, with the dried flowers and keeping with the nature theme and what was in season.

«For my husbands favorite moment was when he turned around and saw me walk in for the Indian ceremony. For the both of us, I think it was having all of our loved ones together in one place to celebrate our love, we felt so much love from everyone and it was a really special moment to share and it meant so much as people travelled all around to be there with us. For me the performances were incredible, my husband did a dance and he is quite the performer and very talented, my husbands neices also did a dance which was beyond adorable considering they are only 7, and my younger brothers and sisters surprised us with a performance which told out story from when we first met to us being here now getting married, the amount of thought, got me so teary but they were tears of joy and pride.»

«My advice for other brides who are planning their wedding, keep track of everything and don’t focus on other people, as you can’t please everyone. The main thing that matters is that the food is on point, as with Indian cultures and similar to Greek is that no one leaves hungry or unsatisfied. Try and spend as much time as possible with each guest as you don’t know when you will have this opportunity again. And when it comes to the day of the event, let it be, no point sweating the details, no one else knows what you envisioned, try and enjoy and make sure you try all the amazing food and drinks you spent so much time curating, I certainly did.»
