Megan and Sebastian’s fall celebration in Kefalonia begins with a love story rooted in a quiet moment, as he proposed on a cliff top in South Wales on New Year’s Day with nobody else around, setting the tone for the heartfelt wedding day that followed. Their wedding unfolded with a romantic vibrant style touched by Mediterranean flair, planned by Kefalonia Weddings and brought to life through the bright floral palette of hot pink and deep red that Bosonis Flowers Events arranged into a stunning and lush floral arch overlooking the sea. The ceremony took place at an incredible spot by the water, where bougainvillea and roses created a vivid frame that felt both grounded in the island’s landscape and full of personality, while the bridal bouquet echoed the same bold mix of blooms. «We wanted a very romantic theme to the wedding. We love the candles and the green and white flowers with the added touch of pink to bring the Greek bougainvillea into the wedding. We loved the ceremonial arch that doubled as our background for the sweetheart table in the reception», the bride shared with us. Guests later enjoyed the music curated by Makis Klonis, rounding out a celebration that blends color, place and intention into a scene you will want to linger on as you explore all the pretty details from their destination wedding in Greece!

«We met in Zakinthos nine years ago whilst on separate holidays with friends, learning that we lived in the same town back home in south wales. He proposed me on a cliff top in south wales on New Year’s Day, just the two of us with nobody else around.»

«We wanted a very romantic theme to the wedding. We love the candles and the green and white flowers with the added touch of pink to bring the Greek bougainvillea into the wedding. We loved the ceremonial arch that doubled as our background for the sweetheart table in the reception. The green, white and pink just came together so nicely especially with the bridesmaid dresses.»

The advice I would give to a bride who is now planning her wedding is do not assume everything is sorted and to your plan. Double and triple check everything, especially with timings. Also enjoy every second because it goes so quickly!

«My wedding dress was from a shop in Tonypandy “Eva Ashley”. It was something I didn’t really imagine myself wearing before I had gone shopping, I only picked it up to try on as the belt detailing caught my eye. As soon as I tried it on I knew it was the one. It was the only shop I went to and was dress 2/10 that I tried on.»

«Our Favourite moment was coming into the reception to one of our favourite songs. Everyone looked so happy and excited ready to start the celebration!»
