Natalia and Hlynur chose to exchange their vows surrounded by dreamy floral arrangements of hydrangeas, white roses, eucalyptus and lush greenery, all beautifully designed by Frezia Flowers. Natalia looked absolutely radiant in her elegant strapless gown from Primalicia Bridal Designers, while guests received their chic calligraphy-detailed invitations from Prototypon. Even though the day came with a little rain, nothing could overshadow the magic of the moment. The reception unfolded in the stylish covered courtyard of Efilena Estate, creating a cozy and inviting atmosphere for the couple and their loved ones. From their getting ready moments and the emotional first look to the lively celebration that followed with their very first dance as husband and wife, every detail was captured beautifully through the lens of Ephos Photography!

«We first met at a seminar in Paris when we were still students. I was living in Athens and he was in Reykjavik. We kept in touch and two years later Hlynur moved to Paris. That is where we met again and from that moment on we have been inseparable! The proposal happened in Folegandros. As we were walking up the path toward the church of Panagia, Hlynur suggested we stop for a moment to enjoy the sunset and the sea view. People slowly started leaving and before long it was just the two of us. At some point he asked me to look far away, toward an island on the horizon. When I turned back to him, I saw a ring resting on the rock and he was asking me to be his wife.»

«I used to visit Love4Weddings when I was planning my own wedding.»

«For the decoration of our wedding we went with a classic and elegant style, choosing flowers in soft whites and greens. My bouquet was made with peonies, while the little chapel was adorned with an arch of white roses, hydrangeas, lisianthus and eucalyptus. At the reception, the tables were dressed with arrangements of the same blooms along with romantic candles that gave a warm glow. We also set up a wish table with sweets, candles and a Polaroid camera so our guests could create our own photo guestbook.»

My most cherished wedding moment was when I saw Hlynur waiting for me at the chapel of the estate. Even with the summer rain, I held my white umbrella and walked toward him. In that instant it felt like we were the only two people in the world, as if nothing and no one else existed around us. I felt the very same way during our first dance. The room was filled with our loved ones from Greece and Iceland, but as soon as the music started there was nothing and no one except the two of us.

«The advice I would give to a bride planning her wedding is to create the day around what she and her partner truly want! A wedding is a deeply personal celebration for the couple, and every guest will be there to share their joy. The most important thing is to do what feels authentic, embrace every moment and enjoy it to the fullest!»
