On a sun filled summer day in Kefalonia, Emarie and Panagiotis wedding unfolds in a setting infused with a timeless old money vibe created by Kefalonia Weddings, where white and ivory gently embrace every detail. The wedding proposal had taken place earlier on Valentine Day in Asheville, North Carolina, one of the couple favorite destinations. Bosonis Flowers Events designed the decoration with roses, dahlias, chrysanthemums and lisianthus, paired with vintage details and silver antique accents, while the bridal bouquet featured only peonies, highlighting the romantic spirit of the day. On the reception tables, white roses in small clear vases stand out, while lush white toned floral arrangements placed alongside beautifully complete the setting. The bride shared with us that «The aesthetic of our wedding was everything I love: classic white, old money elegance with a soft touch of Mediterranean romance. I wanted a style that would never go out of fashion, clean, timeless and effortlessly beautiful…», and she recalls with deep emotion the cake topped with two Lenox swans and the moment when «We had a beautiful vintage-inspired cake topped with Lenox swans and we toasted with my grandparents’ wedding champagne flutes, such a sentimental, timeless detail that meant so much to me». The day ends with a wedding dinner filled with the most beautiful summer vibes! Enjoy this beautiful wedding!

«Every year for Valentine’s Day, we escaped to one of our favorite places, Asheville, North Carolina. The mountains there have the most breathtaking views and sunsets that feel like they’re painted just for you. That evening, he took me to one of the most beautiful overlooks, standing together on the balcony as the sun dipped behind the mountains. With the sky glowing behind us, he got down on one knee and proposed me the most perfect moment in the most perfect place.»

«We had a full week of celebrations leading up to the wedding and it was truly one of the most unforgettable parts of the entire experience. We wanted everyone to fully embrace Kefalonia the way we love it, the culture, the music, the food, the sea, all of it. We hosted a traditional tavern night with live bouzouki, which set the tone for the week in the most magical, authentic way. We also rented a boat and spent a day sailing around the island with all of our friends, stopping in turquoise coves, swimming, laughing and soaking in the beauty of the Ionian Sea. And of course, we had a beach day at Myrtos, one of the most iconic beaches in Greece. It meant so much to us that our guests didn’t just attend our wedding and they experienced Kefalonia. The island has such a special place in our hearts and sharing it with the people we love was everything.»

«My wedding dress was a custom gown by Kyha in Australia and it was truly a dream. It was actually a two-in-one design, a beautiful, structured corset gown for the ceremony that felt timeless and romantic and then it transformed into the chicest mini dress for the party. It gave me the best of both worlds: classic elegance for the vows and a fun, effortless look for dancing the night away. It was everything I wanted and more.»

My biggest piece of advice is to live in the moment. Don’t overthink the little things, don’t rush through the day and don’t let stress steal the magic. Your wedding truly goes by so fast, faster than you can ever imagine, so be present, soak it all in and enjoy every single second. The beauty is in the moments you actually feel.»

«Our wedding aesthetic was everything I love, classic white, old-money elegance with a soft touch of Mediterranean romance. I wanted a style that would never go out of fashion, clean, timeless and effortlessly beautiful. My bridal bouquet was made of white peonies, full and romantic, while the rest of the wedding featured white roses throughout, simple, elegant and forever classic. We paired the florals with vintage-inspired details and antique silver accents, adding that quiet, heirloom charm that felt both refined and meaningful. We were married at the breathtaking Emelisse Nature Resort, perched above the turquoise Ionian Sea. The setting alone felt straight out of a fairytale. Our cocktail hour took place during sunset, with the sea shimmering behind us and the sky melting into soft coastal colors, the most dreamlike backdrop we could have imagined. Later in the evening, our cake cutting was framed by the mountains and the sea, creating a dramatic yet effortless blend of nature and romance. Everywhere we looked felt cinematic from the golden light to the water to the soft Mediterranean breeze. It was the perfect balance of classic white elegance and coastal European beauty, a wedding style that will remain just as breathtaking decades from now as it was in that moment.»

«One of my absolute favorite moments from our wedding was our cake cutting. We had a beautiful vintage-inspired cake topped with Lenox swans and we toasted with my grandparents’ wedding champagne flutes, such a sentimental, timeless detail that meant so much to me. Behind us was the most breathtaking backdrop of the mountains and see, and as the music began. Everlasting love, a true classic, it all felt magical. It was intimate, emotional, and so perfectly “us.” A moment I’ll relive forever.»
