Set against the endless blue of Tinos during a beautiful summer day, Claudia and Dimitri’s destination wedding unfolded in a setting where the sea met the rugged island landscape, creating the perfect canvas for a celebration rooted in love, heritage and meaningful details. With the thoughtful guidance of Motif Events, the couple designed a day that felt deeply personal and naturally connected to the surroundings, while Levanta Events brought their vision to life through a romantic garden style floral design filled with white roses, chamomile and other wild flowers, accented with pops of yellow and abundant greenery. The ceremony space, overlooking the water, was framed by lush floral arrangements that felt like a statement floral design without obstructing the incredible ocean views, while the aisle was lined with the same fresh combination of blooms leading guests toward the moment the couple said «I do». The overall decoration concept reflected the couple’s Greek and Italian origins, with a palette of light blue and white inspired by the sea and the traditional Greek houses, softened with touches of green and yellow that added freshness and joy. Simple yet refined details carried through the reception tables where white tablecloths were paired with light blue napkins, while white and green centerpieces mixed with fresh lemons added a lively and natural touch. Each table was named after a Greek island chosen for its history or special memories from the couple’s travels, while the menus and seating chart featured patterns inspired by the famous dovecotes of Tinos, bringing a subtle local reference into the design. Guests enjoyed the beautiful flavors of the evening prepared by Exo Catering, gathering with family and friends who had traveled from different countries to celebrate together. In the end, Claudia and Dimitri kept the focus exactly where they wanted it, on the love they share and the joy of bringing their families together in one unforgettable celebration by the sea.

«We met in Madrid, in Spain, where we were both working and where we now live together. We had already heard about each other and maybe even crossed paths once or twice, but one day we finally ended up in the same meeting. From that moment on, something clicked. We started talking more, spending time together, and little by little we fell in love. After a few wonderful years together, he proposed me on New Year’s Eve in Florence during a romantic trip. We were having an aperitivo on a beautiful balcony overlooking the illuminated Florence Duomo, glowing in the dark. It was such a magical atmosphere. He proposed me in the most genuine and heartfelt way, reminding us of the reasons we love each other and sharing how much he had always wished for a strong, independent woman by his side. In that moment, we both felt completely seen and understood, certain of the love we share and the partnership we’ve built. And of course, the answer was yes.»

«For our wedding decoration, we wanted a genuine and fresh atmosphere that reflected our Greek and Italian origins. We chose a colour palette of light blue and white, inspired by the sea and the Greek houses, with touches of light green and yellow to bring freshness, brightness, and joy. Our bridal bouquet and floral arrangements followed these tones, creating a light and cheerful feeling throughout the day.»

«My wedding dress was simple yet elegant designed by a Spanish bridal house. It was an A-line gown with a beautiful bodice crafted from crepe, lace, and delicate floral bead embroidery, perfectly balancing simplicity with refined details. What I loved most about the dress were its clean lines: the boat neckline gave it a sophisticated look, while the square back added an elegant and graceful touch. It also featured a double waistband, which slimmed the figure and created beautiful shapes. I tried many dresses on, but the moment I saw this one, I knew it was perfect. It wasn’t excessive, but truly elegant and, importantly, comfortable. Being able to move freely and dance throughout the day was essential to me. It was also important for my partner that he could walk and move easily beside me, without any risk of getting caught in my dress. This dress allowed me to fully enjoy every moment.»

Our favorite moments of the wedding were exchanging our vows and our first dance together. During the wedding ceremony, we decided to pronounce our own vows so, reading the words we had carefully written to each other in front of our family and friends, was such an emotional moment.

«Also, some of our friends and families shared kind words and well wishes with us and that was really nice. Another unforgettable moment was our first dance. We started the song just the two of us, and then invited everyone to join. We were a little nervous, wondering if people would be shy or hesitant, but instead something magical happened: all the couples joined in, dancing together so romantically, and even those without a partner found someone to dance with, like mothers with daughters or cousins together. In that moment, you could feel the love surrounding us, not just between couples, but the love shared across our families and friends. It was such a genuine and joyful expression of love, and it’s a memory we’ll always treasure.

«For our wedding, we mostly relied on our wedding planners throughout the planning process, especially for ideas and inspiration. We didn’t know about Chic and Stylish Weddings at the time, so we didn’t use it during our planning, but looking at it now, it’s such an amazing source of inspiration. We can clearly see how helpful it would have been to explore earlier, with all the ideas and beautiful real weddings it showcases. It’s truly a wonderful resource for anyone planning their special day.»

«My advice to other brides would be to focus only on what truly makes you happy. Don’t feel pressured by obligations, traditions, or “rules” about how a wedding should be: include only the things that feel meaningful to you. Plan for the details, but also remember to to stay relaxed, as it’s completely normal that some things could not go exactly as planned. In the end, the most important thing is to share the day with your loved ones and enjoy the love and joy surrounding you. In terms of organization, it’s important to plan not only the decorations and style, but also the execution and timings in advance. Make sure everyone who needs to participate (giving a speech, walking down the aisle, bringing the rings) knows exactly what to do and when. On the wedding day, the bride and groom are busy with their own preparation and won’t be able to coordinate everything, so having this prepared beforehand is key to keeping everything running smoothly.»

«The table decorations were simple yet elegant and refined: white tablecloths, light blue napkins, and white and green floral centrepieces mixed with fresh lemons, adding a natural and vibrant touch. We named each table after a Greek island, choosing them based on their history, our trips there, and the vibe we shared with the guests seated at each table, a personal detail we really loved. Even the menus and seat map featured patterns inspired by Tinos dovecotes, adding a subtle local touch. To make the evening even more romantic, we had rows of little light bulbs hanging from the ceiling over the dance floor and reception area, creating a warm and intimate atmosphere as the sun went down. We didn’t use excessive decorations, preferring a clean and pure style, also because the setting itself was already breathtaking: by the sea, with the hills in the background. At sunset, the light was simply magical. In the end, decorations weren’t the most important part for us. What truly made the day special was the love we share and the fact that our families, coming from different countries, were all there together. That sense of unity was the real magic of our wedding.»
