There is something truly magical about a springtime destination wedding in Santorini and Paola and Brian’s day was filled with beauty and inspiration. Santorini My Wedding designed an effortlessly chic setting where white took center stage through roses and lisianthus, beautifully paired with lush greenery. The stunning couple exchanged vows in a breathtaking ceremony spot, with the Cycladic light embracing every detail. For the reception, their sweetheart table made a statement, adorned with greenery and white roses that added an elegant touch to the space. Every moment of the day was captured in a way that radiated romance and pure celebration!

«We met my first semester of college at a party where he broke the ice by offering to cook me a hotdog (I love hot dogs). He had a weekend full of activities planned to throw me off of when he was actually proposing. We went to a nice dinner Friday, the Brooklyn Botanical Gardens on Saturday and the plan was to meet our friends at the Central Park Zoo on Sunday. Instead of the zoo he walked me to a view point by the Bow Bridge in Central Park where proposed me (Central Park is my favorite place in New York). He had a photographer waiting to capture the moment and take a few photos in the park after. Then we went to dinner with a view of Central Park to celebrate.»

«I visited the greek site Love4Weddings when I was looking for decoration inspiration.»

«Since Santorini is so beautiful in itself I really just wanted for the wedding decoration white flowers and greenery. I was not too picky about which flowers, but our wedding planner with Santorini My Wedding executed the bridal bouquet perfectly. For the reception I really wanted everyone to be together, so I opted for two long tables. What I enjoyed most from the reception was the plate breaking activity because all our guests had a blasts participating.»

«Apart from the wedding we planned other events for our friends and family. For those who arrived early we rented a catamaran to go around the island and the day prior to the wedding we had a welcome party. These two events really allowed for everyone attending the wedding to bond and made the wedding day run smooth. We also went to Mykonos after with friends as a mini friend-moon and last hoorah before everyone went their own ways.»

The advice I would give to a bride who is now planning her wedding is: if you are having a destination wedding just remember everyone there is already happy to be traveling and celebrating you so do not sweat the small things. As long as everyone is fed they will be okay. The thing I would say spend your most attention on and maybe splurge is on photography. It was one thing we went a little over on our budget for,but I am so happy we did because we continuously look back at the photos!
