«Alexis and I met online, since he was living permanently in Athens and I was in Spetses. He found my profile on Instagram, loved my paintings, and that’s how we slowly started talking and getting to know each other. Without any expectations, without thinking we would ever meet in person, every conversation made us realize how much we had in common, how alike we were in the way we thought, and how many dreams we shared for the future. Six months went by like that, and when I returned from a trip abroad, we decided to meet for a drink before I went back to the island. Everything felt so familiar, our conversation flowed so naturally, and we both knew this wasn’t just a simple meeting. From that night on, we met every chance we got. He began coming to the island, I started going to Athens more often, and we took weekend trips together. As for the proposal, it happened very naturally and quite soon after. It was winter, and we went to my favorite beach on the island, Agia Paraskevi. He hugged me and said: «This is where we’ll get married!» That’s when he decided to move permanently to Spetses.»

Our first kiss as husband and wife outside the chapel, the dances on the sand, sitting on his lap as we sang to each other… How can you pick just one moment? It’s so hard to choose between all those moments of true happiness!»
«My advice to a bride who is now planning her wedding is to start by talking with her partner about how they imagine their day, to make decisions together and not to let outside opinions influence them. It’s their day, and no one else’s. I would also say, don’t stress about anything.
