Set against the sweeping blues of the Athens coastline, Shiva and Sacha’s destination wedding at Island Resort Athens Riviera unfolded like a quiet breath of seaside romance, shaped with intention and grace by Your Event Profs. From the moment guests stepped into the ceremony space, they were greeted by clusters of white roses paired with soft touches of pale blue delphinium, arranged in a way that framed the view without overpowering it, creating the refined garden atmosphere the couple had envisioned. «For our wedding, we wanted a classic and elegant garden atmosphere with soft romantic touches. We chose a white and light blue color palette to keep everything feeling fresh, timeless and refined, the bride shared with us.» the bride shared with us. The reception echoed this same gentle harmony: tables dressed in clean white linens, light blue accents woven into the settings, and small patterned favor boxes tied with ribbon offering a thoughtful personal detail. The neutral wooden chairs balanced the scene while the surrounding greenery gave the evening an intimate garden feel. One of the bride’s favorite parts was how effortlessly everything worked together, from the florals to the natural backdrop to her Justin Alexander gown, forming a setting that felt calm, sincere and beautifully cohesive. In this chapter of their story, Athens becomes more than a destination; it becomes the place where quiet romance meets seaside charm, captured in a celebration shaped by intention and a vision that lingered long after the lights dimmed.

«We met at a LinkedIn summer social in London. We both arrived with our friends and since our friends started talking to each other, we naturally joined in. We connected instantly and got on really well. Sacha put so much thought into the proposal. He told me that one of his old university friends was getting married and that all of his university friends would be attending. Before the wedding, we were supposed to meet them all for lunch. He even created a wedding invitation to make it believable. On the way to lunch, he said his friends were stuck in traffic and suggested we go ahead to the restaurant first. He took me to a three Michelin-star restaurant in London, where we had around eight courses. I still didn’t suspect anything. He kept mentioning that he hoped his friends would make it and he even asked the staff to play along and pretend his friends were on their way. After the main courses, he proposed me. I was completely shocked. After I said yes, he told me we were still going to the “wedding,” and then surprised me with an engagement party with all our family.»

The advice I would give to a bride that I would give to a bride who is now planning her wedding is to enjoy every second, it really does go by in a blur! Also things will go wrong and not the way you planned and thats ok, no one else will notice!

«I chose a timeless wedding satin gown with an off-the-shoulder neckline and a full, flowing train. The standout detail was the large bow on the back, adding a soft, elegant touch. I never thought i would go for it until i tried it on and knew it was the one!»

«For our wedding, we wanted a classic and elegant garden atmosphere with soft romantic touches. We chose a white and light blue color palette to keep everything feeling fresh, timeless and refined. My bridal bouquet and the floral arrangements featured white roses as the main flower, paired with touches of pale blue delphinium to add a gentle hint of color. The flowers were arranged in a natural, airy style rather than tightly structured, which created a soft and effortless look. For the wedding reception, we used simple white tablecloths with clear glass vases holding long-stem roses and blue blooms. The place settings remained clean and minimal, complemented by small patterned favor boxes tied with ribbon to add a delicate, personal detail. The neutral wooden chairs and outdoor garden setting helped keep the overall atmosphere warm and inviting. One of my favorite details was how everything felt cohesive yet understated—the flowers, the color palette, and the natural setting worked together to create a calm, romantic garden elegance throughout the day.»
