Welcome to a summer love story set against the turquoise waters of Naxos, where the sea breeze and golden sand created the perfect backdrop for Sabrina and Alessandro’s boho chic celebration. Naxos is the ultimate destination because it uniquely combines natural beauty with an authentic Cycladic atmosphere, and this beach wedding captured exactly that feeling. With planning by Maria Voudia, every detail felt thoughtful yet effortless, allowing the landscape to shine. The ceremony unfolded beneath a romantic beach arch made of light wooden posts draped in soft white fabric, gently moving with the wind, while warm white fairy lights wrapped around the structure added a subtle glow as the sun began to set. Lovely arrangements of white roses, delphinium, olive branches and eucalyptus framed the couple against the ocean horizon, blending beautifully with the sandy shore. As the bride shared, «The wedding decorations and flowers were all about simplicity, just as we wanted our wedding to be. After all, we were getting married on a beach in Greece and for us, that was more than enough. We chose just a few white flowers and olive branches, an arch, the beach and a breathtaking Greek sunset…» The reception tables continued in the same spirit, adorned with olive leaves and white candles that flickered softly as guests dined by the sea. It was a celebration filled with sea air, heartfelt moments and the kind of sunset you wish could last forever!

«We met by chance at work, at a time in our lives when neither of us was really looking for anythin, yet we immediately recognized each other. The proposal came the summer before the wedding, at The Rooster in Antiparos, a place we deeply love. Our children were running around, making quite a scene in that beautiful spot, when suddenly Alessandro got down on one knee. It was a spontaneous, imperfect and beautiful moment, just like our story.»

«The most emotional moment was when our friends read their vows to us and we shared ours. Seeing ourselves through their eyes was truly moving. Another unforgettable memory was dancing barefoot on the beach until the very last sirtaki pure joy, freedom and love all around us.»

«My wedding dress was white with a delicate champagne layer underneath, designed to echo the color of the sand. The skirt was romantic and flowing, while the bodice added a touch of boldness with its visible boning and structure. It felt like the perfect balance, soft and dreamy, yet a little sexy just right for a beach wedding in Greece.»

My advice is not to get caught up in the pursuit of perfection. Focus on what truly matters: the atmosphere, the people and the meaning that day holds for you. Even the little unexpected moments can turn into beautiful memories if you embrace them with lightness. Leave space for spontaneity that’s what makes a wedding truly unique.
