«Matthew and I first met in high school when we both started working at the same pizza restaurant. Beginning our jobs at the same time, they quickly became friends and built a strong connection. At 19, our friendship blossomed into a relationship, and we soon found ourselves spending nearly every day together. They bonded over our shared love of trying new food, going on long walks and traveling the world. On Christmas Eve, Matthew made our holiday even more magical by proposing to me beside our Christmas tree.»

«My wedding dress was a fitted column gown, chic, timeless and effortlessly elegant. The strapless design featured a structured corset top, creating a refined silhouette. To complete the look, I chose a cathedral-length veil with delicate lace detailing along the edges. I wanted a wedding dress that felt classic and sophisticated, something I would still love and cherish 20+ years from now.»

It’s so hard to choose just one favorite moment from the wedding. For me, the first look was especially meaningful and finally being together with Matthew and revealing my wedding dress felt unforgettable, and from that moment on, we were inseparable.

«I also cherished the Orthodox wedding ceremony. Even though the entire service was in Greek, a language neither the bride nor groom understood, we both felt it made the experience even more special and deeply spiritual. With Father Pavlos and our wedding planner, Efi from Oh My Wedding, guiding us throughout the ceremony, everything came together beautifully. For Matthew, his favorite part of the day was the bride and groom’s reception entrance. Walking in together to the song I Do, I Do, I Do by ABBA, we were met with so much joy and energy from our loved ones. He loved the excitement of the celebration and the chance to share that unforgettable moment with all our guests.»

«My advice to other brides planning their wedding would be to start by making a list of their top three priorities. For me, it was having a beautiful outdoor location in the summer, surrounded by our closest family and friends. It was a huge bonus that we turned it into a destination wedding! From there, I recommend not stressing too much over the details that aren’t on that list, because at the end of the day, what everyone remembers most is the love shared between the couple. I would also strongly suggest hiring a wedding planner to help ease the stress in the months leading up to the big day.»
