We are traveling to a breathtaking destination wedding, that of Antoinette and Mitchell, who transport us into a romantic fall setting you are sure to love! Their story begins with a truly original wedding proposal inspired by the bride’s favorite movie, The Notebook, as Mitchell bought a canoe, filled a pool with plastic ducks, and proposed in Fort Lauderdale, writing the first chapter of their own fairytale. Antoinette glows, with her bridal makeup by Michalis Tsotras highlighting her natural beauty, while at the wedding reception Pour Choices prepares refreshing signature cocktails to accompany this unforgettable day. «My favorite moment from my wedding was the entire day. We can’t pick one specific moment because it felt like the whole day was a fairytale that just beautifully flowed together. It’s so hard to explain. It was the best!» the bride shared with us, and as you will see for yourselves, the evening reaches its peak with the wedding party and the newlyweds dancing in each other’s arms, closing this unforgettable day in the most beautiful way.

«We met through my best friend who moved to Mitchell’s hometown (Washington, DC) from my hometown (Fort Lauderdale,FL). After a year and a half of long distance Antoinette moved to DC. Mitchell recreated a scene from my favorite movie, The Notebook, he bought a canoe and filled a pool with rubber ducks and proposed me in Fort Lauderdale with their family hiding in the bushes snapping pictures!»

«We wanted to keep the vibe of our wedding really natural and intentional using neutral but still colorful flowers for the bridal bouquet and arrangements. Olive leaves with fruit for the wedding reception centerpieces. We wanted to make sure to incorporate the beauty of the island by using the natural space with minimal details.»

My favorite moment from my wedding was the entire day. We can’t pick one specific moment because it felt like the whole day was a fairytale that just beautifully flowed together. It’s so hard to explain. It was the best. It had everything to do with our planner, Fazou Events and every vendor we worked with.»

«The advice I would give to a bride who is now planning her wedding is to enjoy! Try not stress about every details. You’ve worked so hard to make this day what you dreamed of. Watch it happen and enjoy every bit of it! Live in the moment!»

«For my wedding dress, I wanted something that looked like me and my every day style. It was a soft crepe mermaid gown with gentle contours and subtle draping around the neckline. Bustier bodice and detachable straps. Plunge back with strap.»
