I’m a husband and father of 1 beautiful girl and I have more hobbies and interests than I have time for. My family means the world to me. We have a dog called Pixie. I’ve been to University twice, once in Cyprus and once in Greece. I studied Photojournalism. I’ve been into photography for as long as I can remember. But only started shooting in a professional capacity around ten years ago as a wedding photographer in Cyprus.
Well, quite simply, a documentary wedding photographer should be all about telling a story. For us, it’s about weaving the images together to tell the tale of your wedding day. A documentary wedding photographer is a story teller. It’s very straight forward, but not particularly an easy art to do. For us, an image absolutely has to have context and tell a story to the viewer.
My approach has always been to unobtrusively capture your wedding moments as they naturally happen. Of course, I’m always happy to direct portraits as per your request, using landscape features and striking architecture to achieve natural backdrops. It is my belief that your wedding is about so much more than scheduled events. It’s about those unexpected moments that you won’t find on any list — moments that make your wedding unique and that you will want to remember for years to come.
My name is Panayiotis and I’m the director photographer at PH Photography.
