Against the backdrop of spring in Crete, Claudia and Jez celebrated their wedding thoughtfully planned by Double A Weddings with a refined modern luxe vision grounded in minimal chic styling and intentional design. With the sea stretching beyond the stone arches, the ceremony space was framed by low floral arrangements of white roses, peonies, lisianthus, olive branches and eucalyptus, keeping the focus grounded and intentional. The proposal may have happened in Milan, but the day itself felt deeply connected to its surroundings with white, black and gold accents carried through every detail. At the stunning wedding reception, glossy black tables, gold-rimmed chairs and layered place settings were paired with white roses, gypsophila and white candles in glass holders, while hanging chandeliers added drama overhead. The ultra stylish bride wore a mermaid silhouette with long sleeves, a deep neckline created by Primalicia Bridal Designers. “Our wedding planner Alexandra from Double A Weddings guided us through every detail, helping us refine our vision into something even more stunning than we imagined. She understood immediately what would work against the backdrop of the villa, balancing contrast with cohesion and weaving in details that felt incredibly personal. Walking into the ceremony felt like stepping into a dream brought to life, modern without being stark, luxurious without losing warmth”, the bride shared with us, and it is easy to see how every choice came together so seamlessly, from the ceremony to the final toast. Take a look and see how this unforgettable day unfolded!

«Jez proposed me in Milan on the 22nd of November 2021, during a trip that already felt romantic and special. I walked into our hotel room to find it filled with rose petals, delicately arranged to read “Will you marry me, Claudia?” A moment both intimate and breathtaking. It was private, thoughtful and exactly what I had always hoped such an important moment in our lives would be. I said yes and from that moment everything felt effortless and right, the start of a chapter we had quietly been building towards for years.»

«Although we loved every moment of our day, the time between the wedding ceremony and the cake cutting remains the most vivid in our memory. It was a blur of smiling faces, tears of joy, laughter that echoed through the villa and the feeling that everyone present was truly sharing the happiness with us. Seeing our guests, the décor glowing in the evening light, and knowing how much love had gone into every detail was unforgettable. We are endlessly grateful to Double A Wedding for her dedication, vision and support over the years, it shaped the atmosphere of the day more than words could ever fully express.»

Our wedding style was built around a modern luxe and minimalist aesthetic: refined, elegant and timeless. We chose a palette of black, white and gold, softened and brought to life with subtle hints of greenery.

«Through the site of Chic and Stylish Weddings we discovered several of our key vendors. Each one contributed to the atmosphere of the day in a beautifully unique way, and together they helped shape the celebration into an experience we will never forget.»

«The flowers were sculptural and contemporary, with clean lines and beautiful texture, adding depth without overpowering the space. Everything was thoughtfully considered to echo the architecture of our villa, letting the natural beauty of the setting speak while still creating a statement of luxury.»

«Although there were countless unforgettable moments, our first look holds the very deepest place in our hearts. Alexandra from Double A Weddings arranged it perfectly, a quiet and tender pause before the ceremony where we were able to truly connect, breathe and take in what the day meant. It felt like time slowed, just long enough for us to see one another not only as bride and groom, but as two people stepping into a new chapter together. I will forever be grateful for that moment of stillness and emotion before the day unfolded around us.»

The advice I would give to a bride who is now planning her wedding is to do what is right for you and your partner. The people who love you will be there, physically or in spirit and that is what matters most. Don’t spend your energy worrying about everyone else’s expectations or opinions.

«This is your day, your story, your memory to build together. Especially when planning a wedding abroad, we learned that those who were meant to be part of our journey were there and those who couldn’t attend had their own reasons, priorities, or life circumstances. You only get one day that is just for the two of you, embrace it fully, be present and let joy lead.»
