Lucy and Joseph’s wedding in Paphos feels like the kind of celebration that stays with you long after the day is over, not only because the two have been friends since school but because every detail at Vasilias Nikoklis Inn embraced the rustic chic, garden style they imagined. The ceremony took place outdoors under the trees in the garden area of the venue, where sage green set the tone and neutral flowers with blush peonies and seasonal foliage framed the wooden chairs and soft draping along the aisle. Peonies added a gentle touch throughout the setup, blending beautifully with the natural surroundings. The couple chose miniature olive oil bottles filled with Cyprian olive oil as favors, a thoughtful nod to the local setting and the intimate atmosphere of their day. «I would recommend our gorgeous wedding venue at Vasilias Nikoklis to anyone, the staff were absolutely amazing I couldn’t thank them enough for making us feel so relaxed and calm on the day!» the bride shared with us. A celebration filled with meaningful details and effortless charm, it is one you will want to linger on for inspiration.

«I and Joe have been friends since school! We became a couple in 2018 and Joe proposed to me in March 2023 in Vietnam! We had been sight seeing all day on a scooter, Joe pulled over on the Hai Van Pass, found a great spot at a conservation tower with an amazing view and popped the question! I had no idea he had been carrying the ring round with him all day, he hid it well!

«My wedding dress was the ‘Monique’ by Trish Peng. I knew I wanted sleeves to be part of my dress but was conscious the weather was going to be warm, the sheer sleeves on the dress (which are also detachable!) meant I could have the best of both worlds without being too hot. The dress has 3 different looks: full sleeve, cap sleeve and strapless. It was nice to be able to change this up throughout the day. I absolutely loved my dress I felt so comfortable in it and the detail on it was just stunning! I wish I could wear it everyday!»

«We wanted to keep the decoration in keeping with the venue and its beautiful location! The venue already had lots of flowers, trees etc so did not want to take away from that! We went with sage green as the main colour focus, along with beautiful neutral colour flowers, blush peonies and lots of seasonal foliage. I absolutely loved our flower arch at the end of the aisle, it was such a focal point of the wedding and nobody even knew they were faux flowers they looked so realistic! We did not want to be wasteful at our wedding and thought they were the most economical way of creating a centre piece that will not be thrown away the next day!»

The advice I would give to a bride who is now planning her wedding is do not overthink things, do what is best for you and your husband to be! There were things that I was stressing about on the lead up to the wedding and on the actual day I totally forgot about it and enjoyed my day! The day goes so quick so don’t forget to take it all in with your husband!

«I would recommend our gorgeous wedding venue at Vasilias Nikoklis to anyone, the staff were absolutely amazing I couldn’t thank them enough for making us feel so relaxed and calm on the day! I would also recommend hiring the wedding bus, our guests said this was one of the highlights of the day!»

«My favourite moment was the Cypriot dancers we had booked, not many guests knew about it so when they came onto the dance floor everyone was shocked! They were absolutely amazing, they got all the guests involved and even played a trick on the Best Man! People were talking about them for ages after the wedding, I would highly recommend!»
