White arrangements, soft golden details and an unmistakable sense of romance transport us to a sun kissed summer day in Rethymno, where Harley and Nathan celebrate the most meaningful chapter of their story, sealing a bond that began back in their childhood years. Their love spans many years of shared memories and reaches its peak with an unforgettable proposal in August in Mykonos, at the end of an island hopping adventure in Greece, when Nathan led Harley to a private beach at sunset, beautifully adorned with rose petals, candles and champagne. Designed by Stepsis, their destination wedding in Crete unfolded in a stunning setting where white tones reigned supreme, blending effortlessly with the natural surroundings, while tall stands showcased lush floral arrangements of roses and baby’s breath, finished with subtle golden touches that completed the look. Harley radiated natural beauty, with her exquisite bridal makeup by Nektaria Tzortzoglou enhancing her features through soft hues and carefully crafted details. It brings us immense joy to see brides from abroad drawing inspiration from our greek site Love4Weddings and including it in their wedding planning journey, just as Harley did, sharing with us «I visited the greek site of Love4Weddings, in the planning stage when we were looking for inspiration for our Greek wedding!». Images filled with emotion, love and genuine moments unfold before us, inviting us to discover every detail of this truly unforgettable day.

«We met at school when we were 15 and 16 years old. In August 2022, my now fiancé and I went island hopping in Greece and it was a trip that I will never forget. By this point, we had been together for 12 years after meeting at school and had lived together for 8 years. We had bought our first house together and were loving life. Back to island hopping. We spent 6 days in Crete, 1 day in Santorini and 3 days in Mykonos. My fiancé planned Crete and I had planned Santorini and Mykonos. The holiday was absolutely amazing and that’s when we fell in love with Greece. On our first day in Mykonos, we checked into our hotel and were chilling in the hot-tub on our balcony. My fiancé said that the hotel had a brand new beach bar and suggested that we go for a cocktail before heading into Mykonos town for dinner. I’m never one to turn down a cocktail so I got ready and we started making our way down to the “beach bar”. Little did I know, it wasn’t actually a beach bar. My fiancé lead me down lots of steps right next to the sea as the sun was setting. We eventually arrived at the top of the last set of steps. That’s when I looked down and realised what was happening. It was a private beach, scattered with rose petals, candles and champagne. The most gorgeous, romantic setting I have ever seen in my life.»

«For our wedding decoration we chose white roses and baby’s breath florals for our bouquets and on stands for our ceremony. We chose beautiful shades of white, gold and champagne for our colour scheme. We wanted it to look classy and modern but which a beach vibes. We had gorgeous twinkly lights for our reception when the sun set. We also wrote each guest a personalised poem for their name places for our two long tables for the dinner. We sat on a sweetheart table just the two of us which was a perfect opportunity to spend quality time together and soak in the magical moments.»

The advice I would give to a bride who is now planning her wedding is to enjoy every moment! Spend the whole day with your husband/wife, so that you remember the whole day together.

«My favorite moment from my wedding was marrying my childhood sweetheart and walking in to our reception with our guests all welcoming us! It was a crazy party and our guests brought the best vibes! Our band Smooth Mood Project sang us in to ‘Gimme Gimme!’»

«My wedding dress was a fishtail lace, sheer dress designed by Milla Nova. It had sheer, nude undertones with white floral lace over the top and was covered with sparkles. It had a plunge neckline, was backless and had a long train.»
