The Romanos Resort is one of those wedding destinations that effortlessly combines natural beauty with refined style, making it the perfect setting for a celebration filled with romance. Surrounded by lush gardens and breathtaking views, this beautiful destination wedding in Greece embraces a modern Mediterranean aesthetic with soft white florals, fresh greenery and thoughtful details inspired by the beauty of Messinia. The ceremony took place beneath a wooden square frame draped with airy white fabrics, while impressive floral arrangements featuring white roses, hydrangeas, eucalyptus, green foliage and dried wheat stems created a stunning focal point on either side. The same understated style carried through every detail of the day, blending natural textures, subtle citrus accents and Greek-inspired touches such as olive branches and olive oil bottle favors into a design that felt both timeless and effortlessly beautiful. While planning their wedding, the bride found inspiration through Chic and Stylish Weddings, especially from celebrations hosted at Costa Navarino, helping her shape everything from the table styling to photo locations and vendor selections with confidence. As the bride shared with us, «My favorite moment from my wedding was listening to my husband’s vows during the ceremony and also seeing his emotional reaction when listening to my vows to him», a memory that perfectly captures the emotion of the day. Every moment reflects the beauty of a destination wedding designed with intention and heart. We are so excited to share every beautiful detail of this unforgettable celebration with you!

«We were coworkers while working at Amazon. He proposed me during a trip to Milan, that actually I had planned for his birthday as a surprise. So when he proposed during our dinner at this fine dining restaurant I was totally surprised. He later told me that he had had the ring for a while and was waiting for the right moment. So when I surprised him with the trip to Milan, he decided to take the ring with him and found the ‘right moment’ in the restaurant.»

«I visited the site of Chic and Stylish Weddings when I was looking for inspiration in terms of theme and decoration style. In addition, I found a blog entry about one wedding that took place in the same location Costa Navarino Westin Resort – we celebrated at Romanos but it belongs to the same hotel complex. I could use the details and photos to better understand table set-up possibilities and also potential locations for our bride and groom photoshooting. I knew some vendors already because my father lives there or the hotel recommended them. But when I saw them for prior weddings on Chic and Stylish Weddings it gave me confidence that I wanted to book them.»

«The wedding dress I chose felt effortlessly modern yet deeply romantic crafted from a soft, fluid fabric made of raw silk that moved beautifully with every step. It featured a clean, flattering silhouette, sheer sleeves that added just the right amount of lightness and femininity. One of my favorite elements was the open back, finished with subtle button details, which gave the dress a contemporary, almost poetic feel. What made it truly mine, though, was a small but meaningful customization. I asked for the cuffs of the sleeves to be finished with a layer of lace. The designer incorporated it so seamlessly, and it became one of those quiet details that made the dress feel incredibly special and personal to me. But beyond the design itself, this dress carried so much emotion. I went dress shopping just three months after giving birth to my daughter, at a time when I didn’t fully feel like myself yet. My body was still changing, I was breastfeeding and I wasn’t sure how I would feel trying on wedding dresses in that moment. And then I put this one on. For the first time, I felt truly confident again. I felt beautiful, at ease and genuinely excited. It wasn’t just about how the dress looked. It was about how it made me feel during a very emotional and transformative time. In that moment, I just knew: this was my dress. It became so much more than something I would wear for a day, it held a feeling I will never forget.»

«The decoration style for our wedding can be described as a modern Mediterranean aesthetic with a refined, minimalist feel and understated luxury. It blends natural elements like soft greenery, loose white florals and subtle citrus accents with a clean palette of neutrals and light textures. The design feels effortless and airy, with an emphasis on balance and negative space. Subtle Greek-inspired touches like olive branches in the bridal bouquet and table decoration, or olive oil favors, add a sense of place and cultural warmth, enhancing the overall atmosphere of relaxed, al fresco elegance.»

«If I could give one piece of advice to any bride who is now planning her wedding is that it would be this: don’t try to do everything alone. It’s so easy to get caught up in the idea that you have to manage every detail yourself, but having the right support. Whether that’s a trusted person, a professional, or even just someone to bounce ideas off, makes such a difference. Planning should feel exciting, not overwhelming. Give yourself the space to actually enjoy this season.»
