Christina and Christos modern wedding on the Greek island Sifnos was an excellent choice. The couple met in…preschool! After many years their paths crossed again when they were older and that is when they both realized they were made for each other.
Sifnos maintains the traditional architecture of the Cycladian islands. The beauty of the island is mesmerizing. The white houses, the windmills, the stone graveled roads, the traditional villages and the exotic beaches all together create the perfect wedding destination. A modern wedding in Greek islands with a “fun vacation” theme.
The bride was definitely stylish…The amazing wedding dress from designer Myrto Dramountani, the ultra chic wedding shoes from 3.1 Philip Lim, the unique jewelry…trendy fashion choices that impressed everyone.
The wedding dress literally was a master piece. The designer, Myrto Dramountani is an architect that realized that they way she thinks when designing an architectural surface is very close to how she comprehends a fabric’s surface.
The designer’s trade mark is the techniques she uses with fabrics and the laser cut method that gives the fabric a 3D image. Unique and undeniably avant garde.
The groom in his Hugo Boss slim line suit. Simply exceptional.
Christina and Christos decided to get married in the Church of the Seven Martyrs. The picturesque church with the traditional aesthetic from the Cyclades islands, was built on a mountainous hill. The view from the church is intense…however after a while when you get used to it, serenity overwhelms you
The bride was escorted to the church by her brother.
According to the bride, the entire wedding preparation was special because:”Christos and I together planned and handled all the special details of the wedding. With the help of friends we planned a “vacation on an island” themed wedding. Of course it goes without saying; on the day of the wedding our friends were the ones who managed all the wedding details”.
The moment that the groom sees his bride for the first time on their wedding day. The way they look at each other…very intense.
The wedding candles had a minimal natural decor.
The chic bridal bouquet had daisies held together with water lily leaves.
Their first steps in life together as a married couple.
The reception was held at the restaurant of G. Zampeli in Fasolou.
A unique idea for wedding favors that featured the same design as the wedding dress designed by Myrto Dramontani.
The newlyweds entered their wedding reception with the song “Pio Psila” from Vegas.
Friends and family enjoyed themselves. Unforgettable moments, memories made with an amazing group of loving people.
The bride and groom and all their guests danced on the beach until the next morning. For the bride the most beautiful moment was: “The entire wedding experience was special for me and Christos. We have been living in London for several years now and with our wedding we were given the chance to celebrate with friends on an island we love. We combined our wedding with a perfect week of vacationing, parties, swimming and a whole lot of fun!”
The wedding dress, so delicate and airy. The summer sun made amazing shadows through the laser cuts of the dress.
The next day shoot by the one and only Yiannis Alefantou.
As the bride mentions:”From the beginning, Yiannis (Alefantou) became part of our group. He captured every moment in a unique way…a very precious collection of unique memories and once in a life time moments”.
